Are the 885s stiffer than the oem springs? These are suppose to give me about 2" lift but are about the same length?

No you don’t, 885s are the same spring rate as 887s. With the 885s will see approximately 2.5” lift for a DCSB 2nd gen. So your 3rd gen should be about 1.5” lift on those coils. I don’t believe they are a higher spring rate than your stock coils but I don’t know about the 3rd gens. I believe the correct coils you need are the 888s for a 3rd gen 2” lift.

885s only give about 1.5 inch of lift on the third gens. I put those on my buddy’s truck and I put 887s on mine. They both handle and feel the same, I just have a little over an inch of lift on him. The 885s leveled the truck out nicely though. I put 1.5 inch aal in the rear of mine to level it out as well.

I bought a DeMello aftermarket steel bumper (haven't installed yet), I think weighs 100lbs... what would be an appropriate spring if I wanted to add a little lift from stock?
Also, what shocks would be best to use with the OME springs?

883s or 884s. Depends how much lift u want to achieve and if you have an access cab or DC. The OME springs are meant to pair up with the OME struts but plenty of guys pair up the 5100s with OME coils with zero probs.

It is a 6cyl and yes it will settle a little, but his was nose high for a few days and settled into being level.

That's odd. I have the 4cyl. and it only gave me 1 1/2'' of lift.

That’s about what it netted him as well. We measured and his rake was like 1.6 inches stock. Afterwards the rake was 1/16th of an inch.
