Who loves them? Who hates them? Hear a lot of different takes on them so am wanting to hear what the majority thinks of them.

Love my 886s. I do not have a winch but my heavy ass bumper makes up for the winch weight. Just got back from a taco meet and they preformed really well off road.

Have 886's ready to go for when my winch is ready to go in. Won't be putting them in yet since the bumper is aluminum

Road in someones truck with them and thought they did what they were intended to do, support weight. He has full skids, plate bumper, and a winch. Ride wasn't bad at all IMO.

Bump old thread... this thread asks the question I've been searching for. Just looking for reviews on 886 w/ Nitrochargers. I have 887's and 5100's right now and I like them (I'm getting about 2.5 in lift with sliders, front hidden hitch and Allpro IFS Skid), but I'm thinking about going with and ARB front bumper and mounting my winch in it. As understand it, 5100's no go with 886? I'd like to not have to buy new shocks, but may need to.

Nitrochargers are relatively cheap. My 886's and Nitrochargers are treating me pretty great. Get 886's. Get Nitrochargers. Be done with it IMO.

Any issues with clunking or bottoming out the nitrochargers for you?

Bottoming out? No. They'll clunk a little over speed bumps but that's about it. I also have 1/4 top plate spaces giving me an extra 1/2" of lift though.

i am running 886's with 5100's with zero issues. There is no reason as to not use them together.

It's a good ride and no issues, other than my front end sits lower than I'd like. it's smooth and comfy tho.

full OME setup with 886... steel pelfreybilt 3 hoop (no winch yet), full steel belly skids, sliders, group 31 battery, lights, roof rack, etc. she's a heavy pig

    Thanks

Do you know what you are getting lift wise? I'd like to keep to 2.5 range if possible.

Thanks, for some reason I was thinking adding the spacer was bad w/ 886s.

Running an aluminum Pelfreybilt bumper and 10k winch. I think the 886 are a little stiff. I have around 90-100# on the front and believe it would have been a better ride wit the 887.

    Good luck.

Thanks, you using spacers also? I'm thinking of getting the ARB, already have a 10k synthetic winch. I'm thinking I'll have enough weight not to be too stiff

I thought I remember reading that on TW in the past, but I can't really see a reason it would be bad with just 1/4in spacers. did you need to upgrade bumpstops?

@danbow I have the 5mm spacer under the coil on the driver side to compensate for the 'taco-lean'. Although.. I don't think I needed it.
