Hey all, so I decided that I want to remove my bumper/winch to lose some weight before my next road trip. I have a 14' access cab and I just want to make sure that it's safe to do so. Will running 886's without a bumper cause any problems aside from an extremely stiff ride?

Temporary? If so, you should be ok. Just throw it back on when you get back

(Dibs if OP is looking to sell 886s at all ;))

Swap for 887's if the bumper is staying off

Nice! Appreciate the quick response. Considering I haven't had as much time to go wheeling as I've wanted, I might potentially sell the 886's. Will hit you with a pm if I do. ;) Thanks

Will it make that much difference, how heavy is the bumper?

I'd check your alignment after. Especially if it's going to be a long trip
