This is one of my favorite trucks that Ive seen on this site. How is the ride with current setup, does it still feel good on the highway?

actually , the 887 coil isn't designed to be used in the Tacoma at all , it's designed for the 4Runner

Nah, gives me something to look forward to down the road. Seems like some of you guys know a lot about these lifts, so I have a question. We pull a pop up camper during the warm months and I would like to put dakers on the rear. How high would the front need to go to match the back and would the ucas need to be changed. Like to keep factory ride with no problems for daily driver use. Truck looks really long as is.....black dclb. 884/885??

I have heard from a multiple people that have 2016 tacomas and they dont get 3" with 887 and bils set Zero. I did 887 and .85 and got just under 3" of lift in the front. About 2.75 in the front.

No extra front weight. I'm 220 but that shouldnt do it. Not sure why 887s set at 0 didnt giive me 3 inches. Same as OP

I just bought a 2016 TRD sport 4X4 and I am new to the forums. The guys running 5100's set at .85 w/ 887 coils, with 4x4 I wanted to see if you have had any issues with the CV angles and if the ride with this setup is any good. I'm looking at doing this setup in the next week and want to make sure it is a good move.

Has anyone installed these coils on a 2016 double cab 2WD?
How much lift could I expect on 5100 bottom notch?

They make the 888x which is for the new 2016 to achieve real 3inches.

How bad did it look with stock tires ? I was planning 3"/2" lift like yours but wanted to wait 6 months to put tires after my play funds came back up.

Like you've been skipping leg day. It's pretty noticeable with stock tires.

The 2nd Gen supposedly sits 1in lower than the 3rd gen from the factory. The 887 projected 3in lift on my 2nd gn so maybe that why you 3rd genners are only getting 2 inches?

FWIW, some 2nd gen guys run 3rd gen OEM coils and gain around an 1in up front.

I'm also no suspension expert at all

I was thinking of running this same set up set at 0. Would I ride nose high with bilstein 5100s on the rear no block or AAL? Probably huh
