Uca don't add lift. The purpose of the Uca is to get the wheel alignment in spec.

But with your 2009 after install of 5100's set at 0 and OME 887 it was around 3" once it settled?

I do not have this lift set up...yet
In the near future I will be going with this lift though. And I believe most people who have this lift get 3" of lift but then it settles to around 2.75"

This is what my understanding is after reading through the whole thread

    More body roll in curves.
Better flexibility for the avid offroadsmen

its a much better ride, softer, allows for more flexibility, not just for avid offroadsmen (most would agree). I'll never put it back on.

i highly recommend it. Took all of 20 minutes. Can always put it back on if you don't like it, but I've never heard of someone doing that.

yeap i ended up takign it off. i already knew that one of my end links was worn out because it made an annoying knocking noise so thats gone now so thats a plus.
this is not my first lifted truck that ive driven without a swaybar but this is the first time in 3 years that ill drive my 09 without it. interested to see if the highway bumps will be a little smoother

I went with the 5100 /887. I far as I can tell you can't get the full 3" with the other setup but they are a better performing shock. I am super happy with the look I got from this lift. On a side note one of my front shocks started leaking oil immediately, so I'm sending it in to get it replaced under warranty

Yes 3". Uca help with alignment not the lift itself. Most people get them with 887 and 3" lift. You could also go with 885 and no Uca but only 2.5" lift

Ok, I've read through this whole thread (and many others) but still need some advice. I have a 2004 double cab prerunner. I got it with a 2-3" spacer lift and blocks in the back. It rides like shit and is super rough on anything other than perfect roads.

I don't have a lot of cash since I just got
The truck but need to fix the ride quality. Is 5001'a and some OME coils my best option?

The only problem is I've seen a lot of different information (negative) about running 5001's with adtermarket coils. Especially with my type of truck as the ride will still be really harsh. Can anyone speak to this?

My truck is mostly going to be a surf trip/camp truck. Light off-roading and driving down dirt roads in Mexico. Nothing too crazy.

All in all I'm looking to just gain some knowledge on what to do.

I don't think too many people in this thread running this set up has had too much trouble. I plan on running this lift. If you are not sure you can always run the OME coils with the OME shocks. But you may not get as much lift

Yeah. My only problem is that an OME lift is like 400 bucks more. I'm looking for around 2-2.5" of lift so I don't need new UCA's unless I want to get them down the road.

    T
Then you want the 5100's and 885 coil. The 887 coil will give closer to 3" of lift.
I think people put the 5100 on the second setting to get 2.5" of lift. I'm not sure though since I haven't looked into that lift
