Why the switch out of curiosity? I'm torn between doing the spindle lift vs 5100's with new coils, AAL and new UCA's.

Retain ride quality and geometry with spindles. Get a little wider stance too. No need for UCAs. I already had em tho so I left them in.

Thx for the response, I'm still not sure which route I'll go. I see the maxtrac are a 4 inch lift and I didn't really want to go that high. What's the cost of install on the spindles as opposed to the other lift?

I had another member help me with install both times, I wouldn't be able to put a price on it - Changing the shocks and coils aren't too bad, the UCA can be tricky getting out.

The spindles weren't that bad assuming you have the correct tools. The instructions are pretty clear. The extended brake lines are probably the worst part, and even they weren't too bad.

There's a whole thread with a ton of good info on the maxtracs if you're interested:

How much lift did you gain on this application? What is the height from the ground to the fender well? And last but not least, did you get a good price from HS? Very nice setup, Love the black until it get dirty, that's why I went with the white...

    Gained just under 3 inches
I’ll have to get exact measurements later for you to the fender well. Yes I think Headstrong gave me a great deal and they are in Ca got my order really quickly
Marie at headstrong is a expert and would recommend speaking with her if you have any questions. My truck came out exactly the way I wanted it’s definitely a huge difference in height love the stance and news tires are really nice. Only drawback is slight difference in mpgs but it well worth it to me.
You are correct the black get dirty quick!!
Let’s see some pictures of your ride

    Hi guys

I really need your help. I read all the tread and i'm totally lost...i'm french so i don't understand everything. I need to change my coil and shocks. I currently have OME 2885 with nitrocharger for many years, my truck is a 2008.
I want to go with the 5100 and the 2887 but i'm not sure about the right parts number for the Bilstein. I'm also lost with the rear one. I have Dakar leaf pack...do i need to go with the extended one or not.

You can't imagine how you help me!

    Thanks

    Thanks!

Are you sure about the rear one? On the wheeler website they said to don't use this shocks with less than 4" lift?

There isn't a single Bilstein part in that list. That's an OME kit.

5100's all around, OME 887 with 1/4" spacer, icon 3 leaf aal. 255/75/17 BFG KM's on 4runner pro's. Rigid led pods. Debadged and tinted.
Headstrong off-road sells a "kit." I ordered all of mine from low range off-road, except the icon aal, I got it on a black Friday sale.
