Chasingtails, what size tires? Any issues with the TSS sensor on the 2018? How’s the ride? Looks good btw.

Thanks! Ride quality is superb so far. For whatever reason, I feel like I have much more control than I did before I installed the suspension. Tires are Wildpeak 265/70r17s. I could go bigger, but I actually don’t think it needs it. No issue at all with the TSS sensor so far

this is good news..i just did the same and it was 3 inches for me too. Fortunately it seems to be settling and will end up around 2 inches. what did you do for the lift in the rear?

does anyone know if 5100s in the rear without any lift blocks or aal is bad for the strut?

I just put mine on and then realized that they might over compress since I didnt accommodate the extra length with any sort of lift. I have 1.5" aal on the way but I just wanted to put these struts on while i didnt have anything to do..

am i going to mess them up driving around like this for a few days till my parts show up?

Anyone here running 887’s with an aluminum bumper and winch? It would be nice if I don’t have to switch to 886.

I have been going back and forth for a while now.. Spend the extra $700 or so and get the 887/Bilstein kit from headstrong, or just get the bilstein shocks and level the truck out by setting them at 1.75 inches. With that being said, I am trying to figure out exactly how much more it is going to be. With the kit from headstrong, it offers a strut assembly for $90. Do I need to spend the $90 on the strut assembly or no? I wouldn't be doing the install... that would be done by a local shop.

Hey, so i'm having a hard time deciding between 885s and 887s that I would set at 0 on 5100's and Iv'e been having trouble finding any AC owners that went with 887s.
About how much lift did you get from the 887s & do you have any weight up front? I already have Light Racing UCAs and i'm looking to get around 2.5-3 inches of lift and get rid of my spacers ASAP.

    Some of the things...
I have a us offroad winch mount and smittybilt 9500 as well as a trd s/c (guessing at least 200lbs total front weight) and sit around 2.5" although I have a 3/8" spacer on the drivers side and a 1/4" spacer on the pass side. If I did it again I'd probably do 886's especially since I dont run a front sway bar. If you are not weighted down up front i say get the 887's

I've only got an avid light bar up front that weight maybe 60 lbs, not sure. My tucks is also an 4 cylinder. I'm worried that the 887s may be overkill and ultimately be too stiff. I haven't come across anyone on here yet with the 4 cylinder AC and 887s. Maybe someone will see this and chime in.

Did mine last weekend with 887s and Dakar Medium in back. Ride is so good, but started to notice the vibration yesterday while on a very smooth road. Guess the needle bearing replacement will be sooner than I'd hoped. Would have done it during the suspension install but I ran out of time.

On the lift to get the lift...

    One side done...

    Getting that last wheel torqued....

    Success...
