OME 9000 & 885, need 1/4" or 1/2" spacer for a full 3" lift?

    Everyone is saying put the coils on to see if it gives you the ful 3", if not, then put the spacer. I know on the 886's, samster said without a bumper and the coils with a spacer gave him close to 4"

    With the 90000 the are a lot stiffer, so put them on and see how much lift you get. With my 886s with a bumper and winch I am sitting at 39" in the front with 285s

    Coming late to the party - 885's and 90000s = 3-3.5" of lift without spacers.

    I doubted Chris 4x4 on that, and then went and remeasured. Lo and behold, he was right. Full 3" without spacers.:p

    are there any cons if you get 3.5" with the coils and spacers if you have new UCA's? I will be putting my 885's and spacer on next week.

    Personally on my 885s and 9000s I got about 2.5 inches, I dont know why. I guess i do have maybe 70 extra pounds from the supercharger but IDK.

    Adding another .5" lift, takes away from down travel. Even with new UCA's.

    ah that is what i was hoping it wouldn't be, but it makes sense. and on wheeler's website they say the spacers will not affect ride quality, but it has to if you lose down travel.

    trey, sounds like its hit or miss on whether you need the spacers for the full 3" of lift
