That would be good. My suspension seems stiff right now over the stock fox suspension. Need to play around with it. Running 1 compression and 2 rebound which is pretty much “full cushion” and it’s still stiff in my opinion.

I finally found my UCA caster numbers, not sure what they mean specifically but everything looks to be in the green?

How’s does it look to you?

In the green is good to go. I need to check and see what they set my SPC's at and compare it to the chart they provided.

Just installed the SSO hybrid w/winch and figure I’ve now added approx 630lbs. OME BP-51 lift, HD dakar leafs, BFG 285’s, full steel skids, steel bumpers, winch, decked, matched wheel/spare, & rock rails. Thats before any gear or passengers.

I’m going to give 10mm pre-load a test, see how that works then go up from there as needed.

Hey just to be fair to yourself don’t count your wheels as extra sprung weight except for the spare. Their weight matters for mpg but it’s unsprung.

    Here’s an update,

I had my BP-51 pre load adjusted today and that took care of the rubbing I was experiencing. Had them installed out of the box at 5mm and I was getting some minor rubbing in the driver side wheel well off road. I added more weight recently with a SSO hybrid/winch setup and got a bit more rubbing. Asked for 10-12mm but they went ahead and set them at 13mm for safety. I don’t have any spacers installed with this setup, running 285/70/17 on 17x8’s

Really liking this BP-51/SSO Hybrid and Smittybilt X2O setup. Plan a tougher ride this weekend to test for any rubbing but so far, so good!

sitting nice and level. I have a full bumper and winch on the way. Hoping to keep it at 20mm on the preset. Removing one leaf from the rear and (fingers crossed) calling it day with messing with the suspension.

Just placed my order through headstrong offroad. Super excited and cant wait to install this. Does the kit come with some basic installation instructions? I'm very confident in installing myself and can't wait to get started.

It sure does. It's a pretty straight forward install. Only thing that gave me a few problems were the little nuts and bolts for the remote reservoirs on the front. And the plastic guards on the rear shocks snapping into place. Everything else went real smooth.

Awesome, going to be ordering an ECGS 5.29 built front and rear soon as well, I figure i'll just knock everything out at once.

Sounds like a plan. If it's going to be a minute on the rear and front ends, I wouldn't hesitate to go ahead and install the kit. It shouldn't hinder you or slow you down to add the ECGS parts later. I was considering a regear, but haven't noticed any need yet with 285/75r16's. However, we'll see how that changes as I start adding weight.

Ive thought about running the 285's without a regear, but my truck is an aboslute dog with stock tires and next to 0 extra weight. as far as the bp51 i'm plannig on going with the stock 5mm preset and 1/4 spacers up front, and mediums in the rear. interested to see how it all pans out and sits in the end.

You might not have to, but something in my rear leaf pack is squeaking. I'll be taking them apart to remove one of the leafs to get them to medium duty and plan on trying to address it then. Grease, lubricant, whatever to get it to stop.

ok, so i still have some crazy taco lean going on....

i have the truck stock except sliders when i originally put on my bp-51s and rode it like that for a year or two. i set them at 5mm. i had some mild lean going on but not bad enough for me to do anything...

i bought an SSO slimline bumper this summer and before i installed it a couple months ago, i adjusted my coil overs. i put them both at 10mm and put a 1/4 inch spacer on the drivers side. i was hoping this would keep me at close to the same lift and fix the lean. i still have like a 1/2 inch of lean going on....

any thoughts? seems crazy to me
