Anyone running these up front with stock UCAs? I don't want to go for the full lift they provide, rather just use them as a leveling lift to net somewhere in the range of 2" up front, then go with Dakars in the rear to add back some rake. The overall goal is slight lift but just better suspension all around.

Those that are running these coilovers, I have a ? Regarding adjusting ride height. Have any of u lowered or raised yours from original shipped setting while they were already installed. What procedure did u use ?

    In progress... oh boy
I am also interested in this.

The instructions do say they need to be off the vehicle to change the height. It would be nice to figure out a way to do it while they are mounted. At stock height they do compliment the full rear suspension though, Just the CV angles are a bit high.

I asked the installers to adjust them a cm on the passenger side and .5cm on the drivers but they failed to read the instructions and perform this off the truck. so I left them at the from factory height. It does need to be done off the truck. I adjusted the compression down 2 notches in the front as it was a little stiff. I'm at 1+" rake, loaded im closer to level. all in all happy especially with the ride.

After installing this kit, has anyone had any of the driveshaft/carrier bearing vibration issues?

You will need to replace your driver side clam shell bushing. I upgraded mine with East Coast Gear Supply.

That's the one I was gonna get, but did you have the vibration issue before installing the ECGS bushing?

This is different from the ECGS bushing issue which corrects the front differential vibration caused by the needled bearing where the CV axle axle enters the diff. This presents as a speed dependent cyclic vibration in 2wd which goes away in 4wd

The driveshaft carrier bearing vibration is only at a certain speed and is easily corrected by the carrier bearing drop which OME includes with this kit.

But both of these issues vary greatly truck by truck as one might have both issues and then then next truck off the assembly line with the same mods will be perfectly fine.

That's exaclty what I wanted to know. Would you say it would be wise to install the ECGS bushing as well for extra security?

    Thanks

My thought on this when I get my lift in a couple of months is that I'm going to install the ECGS bushing at the same time as a preventative measure. You have half of the work done to install the bushing already when installing shocks so might as well spend an extra hour or 2 then instead of an extra 4 hours starting from scratch if/when the problem develops.

Im gonna have a shop install this lift on tuesday, ill go ahead and ask them to install ECGS bushing as well. Id imagine they have a tool to pull out the OEM bearing and install the new bushing correct. I shouldn't have to buy extra tools from ECGS. I guess ill call tmrw and ask the shop.

Anyone know if upgraded springs are necessary when running a bumper/winch/skid plates?

In the ARB literature it says the BP-51 system is designed for vehicles with that setup.

    Also from Marie with headstrong:

"They have a spring rate of around 720# and, from what I have been told from ARB, were generally designed for a 05+ double cab 4x4 running a steel plate bumper and winch which equate to around 200lb of additional up front weight."

So I should buy steel instead of alum?

Either way. I would go aluminum and save the weight. You can adjust the BP-51 if you feel it's too high for you. They just come from ARB tuned for that weight. By the way, the best deal I've seen on it so far is here where you get free shipping and a free set of SPC upper control arms.
