Haven't seen those. I only see 620lb Eibach coils, but I'm curious what the length is of the 700lb. When I was contemplating the solution for my sagging 888's, I could not find any Tacoma coils over 405mm with or with a spring rate of over 660lb.

    this look like notch zero.

if you can get the shop to raise it to notch 1 or 2 you might get a little more lift in the front and stop the rubbing.

Yes, do the 886's. The ride quality won't be harsh. You're already dropping from a 712lb OE coil to a 660lb coil, but the shocks have a big impact on the ride quality too.

FYI no company/shop that I've seen recommends using anything above the 1st notch for aftermarket coils.

Theres an eibach thread here for 3rd gens. the 700lbs rate was said by the eibach rep. If you pop in I am sure he would be accommodating in finding out the spring length.

Thanks for pointing that out. I found that thread, located the rep's email, and he responded almost immediately. The Eibach Pro coils are 742 spring rate (vs OE 712lb) and length of 382mm. So they're getting the lift via spring rate rather than spring length.

So we can add to the below chart:

    • OME 883: 375mm in height, 590 pound spring rate
    • OME 884: 390mm in height 590 pound spring rate
    • OME 885: 395mm in height 590 pound spring rate
    • OME 886: 402mm in height 660 pound spring rate
    • OME 887: 400mm in height 590 pound spring rate
    • OME 888: 405 mm in height 590 pound spring rate
    • Eibach Pro: 382mm height 742 pound spring rate

Any updates, anybody use the 886 on 5100? Don’t they say not to? Or anybody use the eibach on the 5100? Anyone who has sagging 888 what have y’all done to resolve this, what coil did you switch to?

Question how much lift will a OME 887 coil give compared to stock coil ( 2019 sport )? looking to also have Bilstein 5100 installed. Looking to get 3” / 2” lift when done.

    thanks

The 5100 with 887 coils only have me 2in of lift. I was hoping for 3in in the beginning but apparently not

What about the Bilstein 6112 with other 887 coils. Has anyone tried those with what results in ride and lift?

No one seems to mention what version of the Bilstein 5100's they have. It makes a difference. Here's a good guide from Headstrong.

I have a 2017 DCLB TRD OR 4x4 with skids that weight 180lbs on 265/70/17s

I have Bilstein 5100's already at my house, and I will be going with a Headstrong or Icon 3 Leaf AAL for the rear and 1/4 spacer on driver to correct the lean.

My internal battle now is do I go OME 888 or Eibach Pros (E30-82-069-02-20)? the only reason I am weary of the 888s is due to the sagging issue that I've read about. Thoughts and input?

The Eibach springs will not sag and they are US made :muscleflexing:

I have 888s and it sagged to about 2inch lift. I don’t think I even got close to 2.75. It was more like 2.5. 5100s on bottom notch and 888s. I’m on 285s.

887 coils won't fit around the 6112 shocks, the shock bodies are too thick.
