Quick question and this seems to be an appropriate thread. Currently running the below set up on my 19 DCSB

    Bilstein 5100s
    OME 887s
Victory Blitz front bumper with Smittybilt 10k winch (total weight +/- 150 lbs)
    265/75/16 on 16x8 wheels (4 inch backspacing)

There is slight rub on well and I would like to raise the front 0.5 - 1.0 inch. With the weight up front should/can I switch the 887s for the 886s or 888s?

    I wouldn’t even consider the 888

I have 886 with no weight, works great. Several posts about 888 with no weight sagging over time.

Can you get it level with 886 and the heavy duty darkar pack? Or still slight rake

I would assume a rake, since I'm level with a medium pack.

    with only a 3mm difference in 886 and 888
Why on the spec sheet does it say you only get 1.5 lift on 3rd get and 2.5 on 888

I believe it’s 400lb vs 600lb for the heavy’s. I have 300lbs in the bed (RSi cap and gear). I also have SummoSprings

I’m confused by the way you wrote this question - but, the spec sheet is for a 2nd gen, the 3rd gen is heavier in the front which is what causes a lot of the confusion and sag from the 888’s. The 886 has a heavier spring rate, which is why I believe it is a better choice for the 3rd gen’s. I don’t have weight up front, went with the 886’s and have no regrets. A year later, no sag. I guess you could technically say I have weight up front, since part of the reason I installed this is my sliders did pull the stock front down when I put the SummoSprings in the back.

For lift? I have 5100s and Icon 3 leaf aal with overload spring removed. There's about an inch of rake.

How would you describe how the truck ride with the 886? Is it more planted and controlled? Are there noticable body roll while turning? Do you feel like the car is slightly bouncing when going over small bumps or the set up absorbs it well? As for speed bumps going 30 mpg how does it absorb the bump? Do you get a bouncy feeling right after you go over the speed bump or it levels off but not a jarring stiffness? It'll be nice to know because I currently have 887 on second notch (0.65) with a slider and skid plate, I just want my front to be more lifted due to sag.

It’s firmer, so there is less body roll in corners and no bounce and rebound over speed bumps.

Reviving this thread lol. If the Eibach coils get what seems like a lot more spring rate, does TW still stick with OME with the sag over time? Why not just get the Eibach? Looking at getting the Eibach coils with 5100's at lowest setting with HS AAL in the rear w/ 5100's.

Where the Eibach's in their current form an option in 2018-2019?

888's / 887's / 886's were all based on 2nd gen and being used on 3rd Gen. No sag on 886's.

Durp....didn't think of that. Interesting how HS recommends not running 886's with Bilsteins.

Yeah, that part I'm not sure about.

Back in 2018 there wasn't as much info flowing, nor as many products available so I took a gamble going with the 886's. I had them on until last year when I sold the truck - never had an issue, they ran great.
