Ok that's another option, prob a cheaper option too! Just don't know when the F my dealership is gonna get them in. He said they ordered them and when they came in he would call and they would get em installed. That was a about a month ago. Plus I have been reading that new leaf packs hold up better and longer than AALs?

Why not just get the Dakars instead.

OP MetalTech will remove the leaf if you ask them too

I'll prob just go with the whole new leaf pack. I will prob just go with the OME leaf pack that comes in the kit. Keep in mind, I'm a minor off road'er. I have trips planned in my head for the future, but for now I am looking for daily driver performance and stance, with the capability of going just about anywhere.....within reason, she is still my baby.

A replacement leaf pack will generally hold up longer than AALs but if you can get the AAL into the TSB pack when it's brand new, it seems to make a difference. I crapped out 2 leaf packs so far on mine, a non-TSB pack and a TSB pack. My new setup is a TSB pack with the Icon 3-leaf AAL and it's holding up great. I've hauled and towed with it pretty extensively and it doesn't seem to have settled out at all.

Oh wow, ok. Well what's the general cost on AALs and how many would I need to level out with the TSB?

And in your opinion, who supplies the best/cheapest AALs?

The 3-leaf I purchased is one of the more expensive ones but it makes your leaf pack into a progressive leaf pack and rides really nice. Icon and Wheeler's Off Road both make one for around the same price. Mine cost me $185 shipped and came with new U-bolts and centering pins. The single AAL's less than half of that and you re-use your stock hardware.

The 3-leaf that I bought gives you 1.5" of lift and they recommend you remove the overload leaf for more flex. I left the overload in place so I gained 2" of lift (if you tow or haul, I'd recommend leaving the overload in place).

I don't tow or haul anything. Maybe once a year I would throw some fire wood in the back? Would that be a reason to leave the overload leaf? If not, what would you recommend, the TSB and what?

I would however possibly like to leave the overload leaf as kind of "insurance" in case I did ever decide to tow or haul. Will leaving it cause a stiffer ride? And if I remove it, will towing or hauling damage anything?

The reason I went with the 3 leaf was to maintain a smooth ride. The single AAL's have gotten better over the years and aren't as harsh as they used to be, but the 3 leaf is probably the smoothest riding one I've had. Keeping the overload in doesn't affect the ride when unloaded at all but would put you up to 2" of lift (which would get you pretty close to level with 885's up front).

You might need to call them and ask if they are in -- I had to do that for my springs and once again on my melted headlights. They had the parts sitting there and never called both times. But that could just be my stupid dealer.

Ok last question, so if I get the TSB and a 3 leaf AAL and leave the overload, that will get me to 2" and level me with the front with 885s?

Yeah TenBeers, that happened once before with a cv boot that I ordered. It was sitting there for a week and they never called. Good point, I'll call them tomorrow

So if I do the TSB and the 3 leaf and leave the overload leaf in I get 2"? And leveled out with the 885s up front?

If you get 2" of lift in the rear and 2 1/2" of lift in the front from the 885's you would have 1/2" less than factory rake .

Ok so 885s up front give me 2.5" of lift? I guess my question is how much lift do i get with the TSB, 3 leaf pack and overload leaf installed?
