what can i do to tame it down some? I can feel EVERY little bump in the road and it is really starying to bother me. Me shot leaf pack (negative arch) and shot tokico (toyota) shocks rode better than this. It is like having a rod welded where the shock should be.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
If you have no weight in the bed, the Dakars will be stiff. They were made to be able to handle a constant load.

That would explain alot...i have a tool box with maybe 50lbs in it but thats it. Any ideas to make the ride smoother? Add wieght to the bed?

This is exactly my fear about going with dakars. Idk what other leaf packs come close to the quality of them though

    Remove a leaf.

    Add weight.

Should've noticed in research when people said "Dakars are awesome for constant loads."

    Mine ride like a Cadillac.

So with my allpro rear bumper - that would be considered 'constant load' or does the weight actually have to ride in the bed?

    +1 on remove a leaf.

Or ICON Progressive AALs :) I have these AALs and removed a leaf and it rides literally as good as my old Lexus. It's phenomenal, and very surprising.

You have to gather the fruits of your loins every day and put it in the bed.

I do know. Kings up front, ICON AALs and new Billys in the back is an absolute blast to drive now on the road. As smooth as my old Lexus SC and wish I had a bit more power. Probably good I don't.

I had Billy's and the same 3 leaf on my first lift.

Would still agree to disagree, but glad you like it.

so these all pro standards are for 3 inch lift also?

I didn't know all pro had different leaf pack versions.

Either that, or ive been researching too many 4runner lifts..

    All-Pro Standard Duty Leaf Springs
Improve your Tacoma’s suspension performance and gain lift for tire clearance and long travel with All-Pro Standard Duty leaf springs! The 2005+ Tacoma 3″ lift springs mount in the original spring hangers. They feature a special torque leaf to reduce axle wrap. The 11-leaf pack provides a smooth, progressive spring rate, while extended u-straps and teflon friction pads improve performance. The military wrap at the non-shackle eye provides the durability to take years of punishment. All-Pro leaf springs are sold in pairs, with a complete urethane bushing and sleeve kit. All-Pro backs up their leaf springs with a comprehensive 12-month warranty for non-racing applications and proper installation (with OE spring hangers, shackles and bumpstops). EDIT: Good flex too
