So I was driving around testing the flex of my truck after I removed front sway bar. The clamp that holds together the leaf pack (not sure of the technical name) hits the pinch weld on my fuel tank and a bracket that holds my ebrake cable. Dented and gouged it pretty good. Anyone ever heard or seen this??? I am going to do a ubolt flip soon and relocate my shocks and I'm even more concerned it will rub even more...

I have the same issue with my wheelers 9 pack. One of the bolts holding the pack together rubbed on the tank so I trimmed it down, one of the other clamps still rubs, going to try to bend it over the top of the pack or trim it down once I have time

Did the same on my truck. I don't think it's unique to the Dakars. I've had no issues. It pretty much self-clearance and I don't think it makes contact any more.

You could bend the pinch weld over yourself to keep it from hitting, or just leave it.
