I have a 98' Tacoma 4x4 with a 2.7. I bought a set of OME 881 coils mounted on Nitro Chargers off Marketplace that were mounted on a project truck that never got use and the truck was parted out. I went and bought new OME Dakars and rear Nitro Chargers and have yet to install it all.
The front 881's and Nitro struts have a black spacer that measures 7/8" thick on top and one has an additional thin plate on top of the spacer as well.
Do I want to install with the 7/8" spacers on top or remove them first? Will it be 2.5" lift without and 3" with?
Will the spacers destroy my cv's if left on?
How about the thinner plate on top of the one, is that the piece I see referred to as a trim packer to keep the drivers side from having a lean?
Pics below for reference and thank you...
