    Basic overland stuff...
I'm in a similar boat as @dorton with the exact same setup but did go with some adjustable uppers. I wanted to be able to set my caster around 3.2* to keep the 34's off the rear wheel well. It worked. Still need to fine tune them but I feel I can almost run 35's with only a little bit of trimming.

Also hit @dorton up and let him price your ARB/Old Man Emu and even OEM parts... he's hard to beat!

I have an OME trim packer on my driver side and 1/4" top plate spacers on both sides.

besides suspension there are other things that come with the TRD off road.

    Locker
    crawl control/multi terrain select
skid plate (not that its all that great)

to me the TRD OR is worth the premium, the Pro is not. As here the pro is 13k more than the OR and its only a few cosmetic things and a bottom of the barrel fox suspension. None of which was worth it to me.

I'm running a full OME kit with 888 springs on 285 and have stock UCA's and have had zero problems

It's actually been so good after I put on the lift I went to get it aligned and it was still in spec

So yes don't need uca's and OME is really good at retaining all factory parts like brake lines and control arms I call it oem plus

Car acts and looks like it should stock

Only thing different I did to mine was took of the sway bar no need for it

    Honestly no...

I drive a lot of freeway and I wanted to be able to have more flex when Off Road

It still rides great and I can take turns no problem just has a little more body role no biggie

I tried bashing my fender then I decided to just cut the bolts. I used a sawzall. Each bolt took less than five minutes. I thought it was easier that way.

I removed mine as well (Icon kit though). There's a little more sway, but you aren't going to die with it off. I noticed a little better improvemt off road with it removed.

With only 2 inch lift? Wow many on here made it sound like a lot of trimming was needed

If I had to take a guess, but would it have to do with the wheels that people use? Wheels that dont push the tire out far enough? I cam from the Jeep world so I never had to worry about rubbing and from what I see from a lot of people they replace their wheels but not really with offroad wheels, or they use stock wheels. I dont know, but I do know that the TRD Pro wheels stick out further than other trim levels so the issue may simply be the wheel backspacing. Lower offset moves the tire out, so less rubbing, maybe a lot of people are just buying the wrong wheels

It totally depends on rim. But many with the trd pro rims report needing to trim

I love the Pro wheels but to me they really aren't a good offroad choice. I think it just comes down to the rims people are selecting which then determines how much trimming they will do.

Are you on 886's? If so how much lift did you gain and did you use top plate spacers for additional lift? Thanks!!

I dunno about 886s. They have a a higher spring-rate, the on-highway ride will suffer

    You're much nicer than I.

I was going to respond with "why the hell do you care about what people do with their money?"

I am on 886's and it rides smooth as silk. I also have an ARB bumper and M8000 up front. Hard to say on the lift I never really measured. I am running 34's with only a tiny amount of rubbing at half turn/full stiff up front. No cutting even needed.
