Thanks for the reply! I'm currently on 888's and love them. Just trying to figure out what I'm going to run with a bumper and winch. Thanks again!

Hey guys just caught up on the thread, currently having the front end finished, and I have been debating between 32" and 33" I feel like I'm getting a lot of mixed reviews, I'll have to dig to figure out which shocks I have, I did the heavy kit since I have an ARB bumper and 8000lb winch. I have been looking at stock steel rims and anodizing them, which rim would be ideal to clear 33" all terrains? Also can anybody refer me to the closest tire to a 33x11x16 ? Currently have worn down 31s

    Gents,

Does anyone have alignment specs for my setup they can post?
I have a 2nd gen with similar set up, OME 886 springs and dakkar leaf springs in the rear. I remember the last time I got an alignment, I was not happy with the way it drove.
I got some specs for my setup here on TW and took them to the alignment shop. They used the specs I gave them and it drove much better after.

I would appreciate the feedback very much.

    Thanks

Thanks man! Any recommendations for simple steel wheels with the most ideal offset?

I'm not too familiar with all the available wheels out there.

I know a lot of people like Stealth Custom Series wheels. I have no idea how much they cost but all of them look good as far as offset and backspacing.

That's with out top plate spacers

But I just put a set of headstrong 1/4 inch top plate spacers on today

Now question for those who have factory uppers

What are your alignment specs? I got mine into spec after the lift with 888 coils but I can see I have probably 1 degree of positive camber even though the machine says 0

Should I try for -1 degree of camber?

Opinions please getting it aligned again tomorrow

So the 1/4" top spacers maxed out your stock uppers?

    It looks that way

I went and got it aligned yesterday and the machine says it's within factory specs

But when you look at it you can tell there is positive camber

the read out on the alignment machine showed .5 degree positive camber with is in spec

I have OME 888 coils with 1/4 top plate spacers and 5mm coil spacer on the drivers side

What are you guys getting as far as read outs when you get your truck aligned?

    Need help!!

@srdoublecab2.7 That's just it. Things are different from truck to truck. Some guys might be happy leaving it with your specs others do not. When deciding to do this lift replacing the UCA's should have been on your radar. You may want to drive it while saving some cash and get those stock UCA's replaced. The truck may or may not stay in spec while driving it and as close as you are I know what I would do. Good luck and keep us informed.

Yeah that's what I'm about to do is pull the trigger on some UCA's

I just didn't know if any one knew something I didn't

    Thanks for the help!

OME 2" heavy sport installed, hoping to move up to 285/75r16's, hoping I can clear by moving the castor between 2-3 degrees, change out the stock wheels for some steels with an offset of 4. Still struggling to understand the offsets and which offset is ideal to clear larger tires. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I want some simple, heavy duty steel wheels looking at Cragar soft 8's any other suggestions?

I'm ordering the OME 888 full kit tomorrow. I will just get the driver side trim pack and hold off on the 1/4 spacers for now....no UCA's right now. Hoping to stay around 23" - 23.5" front hub to fender.

Got it on and up front both sides measure 23.5" and out back I'm sitting at 25".

I had to use the driver trim pack up front and out back I had to use a 1/2 spacer under the leaf to get correct drivers lean.

Even with Dakar leaf springs the rear driver side still needed a little help to level things up. The ride is great. Most of the vibes are gone...like the rumble strip when slowing . But most deff I am experiencing the needle bearing issue now.

    Update.

After installing the 1/4 top spacers I'm right at 24" up front now. Alignment is out and CV angles looking like a Polaris 4x4..lol

Obviously the top plate spacer with 888 is to much for the truck without a winch number.
