OME Lift Kit Question: Height Discrepancy?

    Okay here's my specs:
    Tires are 32.5"s
    Truck height:
    FDS= 39"
    RDS= 39 3/4"
    FPS= 39 1/4"
    RPS= 40 1/8"
    I have about a half of tank of gas.

    I know mine i just installed gave me right at 3". I think thats after settling because mine were a little used. I think both front measurements are like 37 1/2". and thats with stock wheels and tires.

    If you measure from the centre of the hub up to the fender rather then from the ground then you take out all discrepancy due to tire size, wear, pressure, etc. It is a more accurate method of measuring lift and it saves the brain work to compare different trucks.

    While you are technically correct- I'm quite sure Chris asked for what he wanted. Either measurement can be used to work out the lift heights if you keep all those other factors more or less constant. Which most people will.

    Im just looking for some general lift numbers. Even if its measured from the center of the hub, people can miss the center a bit, and throw the accuracy off. But, Like I said, Im just looking for some basic numbers.
