That is what I got and a few other items as well. I took your advice and went with the 885 coils as I probably will not be getting a bumper and winch for awhile. Spent alot this past month.

What size are you installing ? Gonna pull the trigger on the same lift kit in a month or so. Doing as much research as possible. Now i'm running FJ 17". Trying to figure what size tires to go with. Would like to stick with the Toyota FJ rims. I dont mind trimming a little. Thanks

I went with 285/75R/16 and yes I had to do some trimming. Just got them installed so have not tried it offroad yet but I think there may be some more trimming involved.

Hey Banff, did you need to buy extended brake lines with the OME kit? I know mine look okay, but I only have about 2.5" of lift. That kit looks awesome!

Hey thanks. I did not get the extended brake lines and there is still some slack. I have not flexed it out yet and I imagine when I do it will be a little tight so I think I eventually will get some. Thanks again.

I am tossing one of these two kits around at the moment. I have an 06 access cab 4x4. I have read through other posts that using the spacers on top of the OME 885 is not a good idea with 4x4 because of the angle of my CV's afterwards.
I am guessing that I will have the same problem with a full three kit from toytec.
Is the general consensus to only raise the truck 2.5 inches as opposed to three?
I will be replacing the UCA's at the same time

Toytec ULK, Light Racing UCA's, OME Dakar rear leaves, ARB Bumper with XRC8 winch, Good Year Duratracs 285/70/17's on 17x9" Level 8 Strike 6's. Leer cap in the winter. Pioneer Double Din with BT, iPod, etc. Boston Acoustic components in all 4 doors with a Sony amp, powered 8" sub. Ultra gauge, Tom Tom...

It looks to me like you have the same Toy I got. I am very happy with my ULK with Dakars in the rear and LR UCA's! I've put almost 20,000miles on mine with no problems at all. I did raise the front an extra 1/4"- 1/2" after putting on my ARB and winch. My CV angles arent perfect, but so far no issues with the boots rubbing or vibes from the CV's. I do plan on replacing the axles in the spring and keeping these for extras. Just doing it as a preventative though because I don't know if they have been replaced and I have 135,000 miles on the truck!

    Good luck with your choice!

I have the 885's with no spacer and got 2 1/2" up front on my DCLB 4x4 . If you add Toytec's 1/4" top plate spacer you will get a full 3" but you might want to wait on the spacer and see how much lift you get with the coils alone , I added the LR UCA's and couldn't be happier .

More pictures of the two contenders please. Anyone have any flexing pictures of either or? I have been contemplating 3" full suspension or a 6" lift soon. The OME is my #1, but how is the flex compared to the Ultimate kit?
