OME medium duty lift!!

Are there any other taco owner with ome lift on this forum? What are the pros and cons with this lift?

What’s the biggest size tires I can run with the ome lift? I currently have 265/70/17

Good lift, truck is extremely capable after the lift. Running the 886 spring, the ride quality is plush on road with the soft valving. I run no sway bar, and feel it rides even better. The rear Dakar EL096R do squeak when dirty, if you clan them not so much but it does make noise. Running 285/75/16, blue truck pictured is exact same lift with 285/70-17

 

does both of the Tacoma have uca? And are the 886 springs heavy duty?

Yes I did JBA HD UCA and the blue truck SPC. The 886 isn't heavy duty its rated for winch or bumper.

Their great quality parts, I love how you can grease the bushings and ball joints.

 

Yes 100% exact reason I went with Jba, i can get them at any parts store. Not waiting around on shipping special parts. The paint and coating is very nice as well. Top notch product. I am running 3.0° Caster, with Total Choas cab tab gussets. Rides 10x better than stock.

 

Wheel fitment matters more than just a lift.

 

I currently have scs ray 10 -10 offset

 

Perfect offset, running the same CMC needed for 285s

 

I will order the old man emu lift today? And what else have you done to your truck. This is my truck at stock height with 265/70/17

 

Just the Ome kit like you have planned. Cab mount chop, and cam tab plates. Looks just like my truck lol

 

Did you run the 90021 shocks (softer valving) or the 90000 (firmer valving)?
I am tempted to run the 886’s w/ 90021 but OME doesn’t recommend it.
