So spent the weekend with a friend installing the OME MT64. Overall was straight forward install especially because I sprayed PB Blaster three times a day starting Monday before the build.
If you know the tips and tricks like the ratchet strap with the rear leafs it isn’t that difficult.
We finished the front yesterday, I Purchased my kit from Mudify and they had free assembly of the front springs so they arrived with the struts mounted to the springs. It was plug and play. We did crack a sway bar linkage boot and broke a brake bracket bolt but otherwise it wasn’t bad.
The tears were today and while mechanically easier, it was just a matter of lifting, squeezing, and lining up the parts to fit. We used a combo of jack stands a low profile HF shop Jack, and a ratchet strap. The biggest thing is to be mindful of your brake lines.

    First Drive:
Wow. What a difference. The drive from my buddies where we did the install to my house was 30 minutes with some highway and for normal day to day this suspension just floats over the road. I didn’t notice any vibration and therefore may hold off on installing the drive shaft spacers. Excited to take this off road and see how it does.
First, definitely need an alignment from professionals, pulls pretty hard to the right.

NOTE: the photo with the truck and lots of grass is a BEFORE shot. The truck in the driveway is an after.

Looking good! Any plans on upgrading the bump stops?

Maybe eventually. But for now I’m sticking with the stock bumpies.
