I'm trying to plan my lift for my new taco dclb. I'm trying to decide between OME suspension lift with toytec aal instead of full leaf pack or the toytec boss kit. I've read a lot of people on here going with the boss but haven't seen a lot about ome (the few I did see were good tho). Any advice?

    Toyota's are awesome
It boils down to what you are specifically using the truck for.
The Old Man Emu kit is a very durable setup that is a non adjustable 2-2.5". They are going to be valved and sprung a little on the firmer side of the spectrum since they are designed for someone that is going to be off road with weight on their trucks.

Boss kit is also a good option, the boss brand is Toytecs brand. What we did was paired up with engineers at Eibach to build and valve the shocks specifically for the weight of the Tacoma's. We threaded the shock body for ease in adjustments along with double zinc coating the shock bodies for increased corrosion resistance.

Both are on sale now until the 27th.

The setup will be mostly on road with occasional off roading for camping or hunting trips. Will also have the weight of leer cap and sleeping platform. I'm also wondering how similar the lifts look on the trucks? I haven't seen many photos of tacos with ome

Thats mine with the OEM Dakar springs in the rear. They are a little stiff but i like them, I can fill it with slab wood and it barley squats. Way better than stock springs.
