I’ve had my OME lift installed for a bit over 100k miles. 885 coils look to be in good shape; everything has been great. I‘M at the point where I think I need to replace worn parts. Happy with my lift, so I’m looking at replacing the front and rear OME shocks and the ball joints on my SPC UCA’s.

When replacing the front shocks, do I need to order shocks and struts? Just the shocks?

    Any advice is appreciated.

I just went through the same process, replacing 100k OME shocks and 885 springs. I am not 100% sure if you need to replace springs; perhaps someone else can chime in.

I figured since the shock/spring combo had 100k miles on it, why not replace all at once while everything was apart. Additionally, a lot of the vendors offer the option to assemble the shock/spring prior to shipping (for an additional cost) which makes for easier swapping once you get the new parts.

I’d probably do both if you will have everything out already. Coils are what, $190/pair? Worth it for the peace of mind alone, just my .02

Thanks for the advice. Maybe I’ll look into just swapping out the entire coil

Coil springs should last longer than 100k. Unless you have extra money to spend, id just swap out the shocks and keep truckin
