Was originally just looking to level my 2010, V6, 4x4, DCSB with some OME springs on 5100's. After hitting a deer a while back, I've decided this truck needs some steel up front and plan to go with an ARB deluxe bumper. I have the TSB rear springs. Would you guys go 5100's with 884's and do top plate spacers, or 885's with only the lean spacer? Or go with the Eibach 112-620 with a spacer? Looks like I need about 2" to level my truck without the ARB. I've searched this but most people are lifting 3" and I don't want to do that, yet....

When i messed with my truck the toytec ultimate coilovers (5100 with eibach? Spring) were only slightly more. And they are adjustable so you can set it how you need it.

Was considering adjustable coils but was worried about them seizing up if I wasnt out there cleaning them very often.

Yeah. Mine haven't and they get pretty dirty but i guess that's a risk you run. I only went with them to get the stance 100% right.

886 springs up front with a bumper. That's what ARB/OME intends for you to use. Stiffer spring to handle the extra weight.

885s are for trucks without bumpers.

884s are for extended cabs, not double cabs.

In case you don't know: ARB owns Old Man Emu.

I'm just leveling my truck, not lifting. Believe the 886's will give me a lot more lift than what's needed?

I got adjustable shocks/coils (#700) up front with my arb bumper/warn winch. Wouldn’t have it any other way. My set up is way too heavy for stock coils. Also since adjustable, I didn’t have to get a spacer that may or may not fix the lean to my liking. Good luck OP. Hopefully another fellow ARB bumper owners can chime in.

886 and 885 are the same height. (Or used to be)

    885x are 395mm with 590lbs spring rate
    886x are 402mm with 660lbs spring rate

^^^ this is what you want if you want to keep stock height IMO.

My hopes with the 885's was to actually get some sag to get a little less than the 2.5" that i see most people get. Was figuring the 886's wouldn't sag at all and would end up with 2.5" or more.

I’d look at some of the builds and ask those guys via PM. ARB makes the heaviest bumper I’ve seen around. Did you want to add a winch? It could get right around 200lb if you accesorize.

100% go 886, they’re 660lb - I have 700lb king springs on my icon shocks and it rides like a Cadillac.

    Good lookin out @11Bguy

Set your 5100s at zero with 886s. My buddy has a GX470 and he’s running that setup. Super smooth.

Isn't the 886 gonna give more than the 2" of lift I'm looking for ? The PDF I saw says 2.5" and have seen reports of a little more lift.

2” on the dot might be tough OP. Sorry for not reading that part. I’m a little slow.

The 112-620 from eibach will give you 2.45” if you put the 5100 on the .85” or second notch. With the weight of the ARB it could settle at 2” for you. I had this setup on my last taco without any weight up front and I got 2.45” - if you only need 2” that could work.

Edit: if you’re not opposed to adding an AAL - headstrong has a progressive 3 leaf for $188 roughly, and that would give you just a little rake.
