Guys both kits come with 888 and Dakar full spring pack out back.

I can't decide which one to get... I was bilstein all the way but after reading up at OME there Springs and shocks are supost to give better ride.

    any opinions on this?

    I've had both.

I'd save the money and get 5100s.

I got this same front setup put on my truck a couple weeks ago. No complaints and love the ride.

I have the same setup with the 5100's and I am very happy.

I am also interested to know this. I've heard OME shocks have a softer ride, while the bilstein 5100s have a harsher ride, especially going from the TRD OR shocks. I wanted something that retains the soft ride.

Bilstein 5100s are always known to have a stiffer ride on paved roads. That's always a given. However, the difference in performance will be noticed when you are on the trails with 5100s compared to the softer standard TRD Bilstein shocks.

Also, if you want maintain that soft ride, then the Bilstein 5100s are not for you.

But how is the performance difference off-road when compared to the OME shocks?

Sorry, I can't speak for the OME shocks because I have never ran them.

seems like the OME Shocks would be tuned best for OME springs.

But I feel like the 5100's would have more options in the future given the ability to adjust lift height.

I am kind of in the same boat but am considering the 6112 and 5160 kit instead - wondering if it is worth the upgrade over the 5100s for a bit of a better ride.

The 5100's have height adjustability in the front right? So then down the road you could change the coils or change the height if you wanted to.

I believe the 6112s are height adjustable as well - are they not?

Remember that adjusting the height on either the 5100s or 6112s will make the ride that much harsher.

Save your money and get bilsteins w 888 coils for the front fox resi in the rear slog with the Dakar pack. That would put you at 1200
