The third leaf is gone from each side and the noise isn't happening over the terrain that I frequent.
This doesn't mean that it will never make noise. It still has that ability for sure, it just isn't as likely now.
I'm a LOT less concerned now and I think I'd buy the kit again, but some good instructions on what to remove and when would be good (I'm sure they are online, but were not with the kit so I didn't know).

    What I think happened...

Fully drooped, these rear shocks only allow the hub to fender measurement to be 27". It limits you to save the brake lines.

Since I was at 25" already, I only had 2" of down travel and CLANK. Also, the springs were stiffer, so there was more droop on one side than compression on the other (the springs were too strong and it unbalanced the rear suspension duties).

    That's my theory anyway.

Now I'm at 23" front and 24.13" rear, the noise is gone, it rides nice, and the only worry I have now is what the winch and bumper will do to me.

    Pics just because....

All apart and 3rd leaf missing.

I HATE rust, so I painted the drums after everything was back together.

Compression seems better (a good bit better really)

Still droops to the limit and dangles a tire over the hole (no surprise, but I was testing)

And there it is sitting with the factory rake plus 2" or so everywhere. (Just FYI, I did use the trim packer on the DS and had a "+" spring that also went on that side).

I'll update later if I get a response from toytec. It may take a day or two though because now I've got to update them on what I've changed.

    **EDIT
I just noticed another problem in the video at 1:19.... A freaking nail in the tire! Crap!

I'm wanting to do this kit on my truck was everything resolved eventually? I'm wanting to get the B110 rear shocks that allow more down travel.

The reason the rear OME shocks top out and limit travel is so that you dont have to extend your rear brake lines. A good ugrade in the rear would be some Bilstein 5100 B110 extended shocks but you will have to get longer brake lines. The OME shocks up front will also clunk when they top out over like going over speed bumps and such.

Thanks for the feedback I plan to get the B110 shocks in the back and the bilstein shocks in the front along with longer brake lines. Any downsides to the 888 coil and HD Dakar leaf pack you can think of?

When you put on the rear leafs did you bounce the truck before tightening the lower shackle bolts? I have the OME 2” lift and it was installed by a Toyota master tech. I watched him do it and he bounced hard on the rear bumper before he tightened up the lower shackle bolts. He said it’s a common issue that people don’t do it and causes problems down the road.
Lowrangeoffroad has an excellent video on YouTube in two parts for installation of this lift. Second part is for the rear installation and at 12:50 in the video they talk about this step.

The only update I've got for you is that the truck now has 70k miles on her (nearly 50k on the OME stuff), and it is great.
I did eventually make some 1/4" top spacers because the winch and bumper settled the front down some over time.
I would do longer rear shocks next time for sure, but these have been great so far.
It has had several hard landings, really bad abandoned logging roads with bowling ball sized rocks, and normal off roading on top of tons of highway. It hasn't skipped a beat.
If I had the cash, would I have rather done an icon kit, or maybe a mid travel, or even the OME BP51 kit... hell yes... but I'm not under gunned here for where I go. I'm happy with it.

Yes, I always settle the suspension before the hardware is tightened.
Great advice for anyone who hasn't done a few of these.
