Hey, so I’m looking at the OME Nitrocharger Sport Shocks on YotaMafia for my 2014 double cab TRD Off Road and have some questions as to what my options are.

Here’s what I have going on…in the next month or two I’m going to need new tires and want to upgrade from my 33 inch tires to 34’s. Am I able to just purchase the kit(front coils/rear springs) without upgrading my leaf springs to get the desired lift for the time being then upgrade the leaf in the spring as I start to add weight(overland bumpers/ bed rack, etc) or is that not how it works? Forgive my ignorance, I’m new to all this and have no clue how any of it works!

    thanks in advance!

I have OME leafs and hate them. They squeak like a mofo. Go Deaver heavies and be done. The rest of the OME kit performs fine though. Also if you're going to put bumpers on make sure to get the heavy coils for the shocks assemblies.

My EL095R leafs dont squeak one bit, they have tip isolators and i put leaf liners in between each leaf (20$) before putting them on. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

to answer your question directly, you are absolutely able to upgrade your shocks without swapping your leaf springs. That being said, your ride height and rebound won't be ideal until the leafs are matched to load weight and shocks. But in summary, one doesn't require the other immediately. On the off topic now, I agree with previous posters, while I've enjoyed my nitrochargers, the OME leafs I've got (older gens) are squeaky as hell. this doesn't affect performance, but is a nuisance.

Awesome! Thanks for the reply! So just to clarify will it give me enough lift to increase my tire size or will I need to add the leaf springs in order to get enough clearance without rubbing for the bigger tires?

I also have a needle attachment for my grease gun to get between the leafs if necessary

    Not Enough and it continues...
Where did you get the leaf liners from?
    Thanks
