Went through the forums and there isn’t a lot of info on the new ome UCA. I just installed them yesterday and on the drivers side there is movement on the arm along the long bolt. I can’t torque it anymore and there is a visible gap on the top washer. Anybody have an idea about how to solve this?

You may be able to use an allen wrench at the end of the bolt to back it up while you tighten the nut

Actually not sure what you're talking about. The long bolt that connects to the frame through the bushings?

You sure you got all the washers in there correctly? I think it usually goes - thick - thin - thin - thick, from one side to the other. Take a pic

I’ll post a picture shortly. The only ones that were on the original were the convex ones and they were facing towards the inside of the arm.

Usually that's a sign that the bushings are bad, if you can see the bolt moving in them. But they're brand new so that's odd.

I’ve seen people forget to install the inner sleeve for UCA bushings and wonder why they have sloppy steering. I don’t have any first hand experience with the OME arms, but I’d probably suggest removing them to double check you have all the parts in there. May not even be your fault if they were assembled incorrectly or shipped missing parts.

Yeah the sleeve was in there but do remember that specific one wanting to pop out.

Well done getting the UCA bolts back in the way they came, that’s better than I did!

These are Camburg, but I find it odd that you don’t have washers on each side of shock tower, inner & outer.image.jpg

It appears you are missing the inner washers. Each UCA should come with 4 washers. One on each side of each bushing

The OME ucas use a similar bushing to the current gen SPCs. They don’t require inner washers to my understanding. And the photos of the OMEs show outer washers, no inners which seems to support that. Why there is a discrepancy with OPs bolt bottoming out, I’m not sure.

edit: actually one side in this photo shows an inner, I don’t even know lol

The installation instructions are pretty terrible. Basically say, "remove UCA. Install OME UCA"

The pictures found online of 4runners with these arms show at least one inner washer. The other is not visible.

For the good news on the arms. They were able to align the truck now without issue and have degrees left over to play with.

This picture shows 2 washer zip tied to both of the arms. That shows 4 different washers. There has to be an order
