    So clean!!! Almost the exact setup I'm going with. Two quick questions: How do the 888's feel? What tire size are you running?

    Sorry, not been on much lately, really busy with work. I like the lift, tires are 265/70/R17's. The 888's were recommended because I have a bull bar with a 4 stack light up front. They seem to rebound really fast over speedbumps in my apartment complex though and they make a loud noise. I notice it's as issue other people are having the same issue with different coils as well though. I'm hoping that the noise will go away as the springs loosen up.

    Sorry if this has been discussed before but for you guys that are using the Dakar leaf pack is it necessary to replace the rear brake lines for extended ones. Is the stock one long enough? Just want to make sure I have everything before I do the work whenever my lift kit comes in. Thanks!

    @Synergy001
    I didn't need extended brake lines front or rear. I'd worry about that with a 6 inch lift or extended travel suspension.

    Thanks just as I thought or else I'm sure OME would've noted it somewhere...

    @Fatmark BTW your truck looks sick bro. When you took off the 3rd leaf is that counting from the top or bottom? Thanks!

    Top, but as long as you don't count your 2 overload at the bottom you get the same leaf either way.

    I just installed the ome bp-51 kit with the dakars and at full droop it was stretching on the brake lines pretty bad. I bent down the top brake line mount and bent the bottom mount up and all is good. A spacer could also work but it was very simple to bend the mounts.
    So far I am very impressed with the bp-51s! I have had ome old stuff on my 02 double cab and my 100 series landcruiser and they were ok but lacked the dampening on the rebound, this is why you end up with the harsh unloading over speed bumps,
    the new stuff rides better than stock on the street and offroad they are amazing!
    I know they cost about 2k more but if budget is not an issue I highly recommend bumping up to the bp-51s!
    I am very picky when it comes to my vehicles and I will say this is the first thing I have ever bought that has exceeded my expectations, only time will tell how they hold up. image.jpgimage.jpg

    @Dissent86 nice thx for the info on the brake lines. Unfortunately the BP-51s weren't out yet during the OME group buy or else I probably would've picked those up. Is it true that you have to take the fronts out to adjust the height? I read somewhere that the wrench won't fit if you wanted to adjust it.

    That is true. Not sure why they are this way, sucks because I would like to give the drivers side a turn or two to make up for taco lean. Im getting an arb bumper so when I do I'll tune up the ride height by pulling the coilovers. I figure once it's dialed in I'll not be wanting to adjust anyway.

    Ok I am so confussed, my truck is the same as fatmark's. All I want to do is level the front, I will run the factory size tire 265/70/16 and I purchased the 2016 sr dark satin alloy wheels. I called toytech an they said all I needed was the spacer kit. Is this good info, what do I need to do if I go 1" over stock. I like my new truck but I am finding out that there is not much after market stuff out for the 2016 yet. I know it's my age but I have a hard time following all these threads. Sorry for the oldman rant!

    Smoother ride if you don't have constant weight in the back.

    If you're just leveling, a spacer install and an alignment and you should be good. 1" won't require anything additional upfront. Your stock ucas and such will be fine. Spacers will rough up your ride a little.

    Don't use spacers, if you read the threads on this forum about using spacers you'll see why.

    The suspension on the 3rd Gen is essentially the same as the 2nd Gen. If you don't want to use replacement front coils I would consider Billstein shocks and preload them to get the front lift you're looking for.
