Going to be lifting the new truck about 3 inches in the front on fox 2.5 extended travel coil over with remote resi and dsc. Don't want to have a ton of preload as I had on the last truck. Which coil does the forum recommend to swap out with the one that comes on the fox coil over.

And for the rear, I will have the fox remote resi with DSC. But I want to change out the leafs. I do not carry much weight as I have another truck for that. I do NOT want to lift the rear, but I'd like to change it out as I feel it's super stiff with nothing in the bed, causing the rear to jump when going over any bumps at speed. What's the forum recommend?

    Thanks.

PS, you'll get your pictures in due time.

If I remember right the rear is not 3 inches higher so if you lift the front 3 inches and don't lift the rear you'll be facing the sky.

You're going for the same set up as me basically . But I have dakars leaf pack medium duty. It's actually pretty smooth .Better than OEM

Dunno if you forgot to mention or don't know if you need it but if you're doing that much lift you'll need new UCA and to get that extended travel you're paying for you need UCA anyways.
Before you ask I have total chaos and I absolutely love them

I had to lift the 17 PRO at least 2 inches to clear 285/70 Toyo MT's. I will be running Camburg's UCA. I imagine I'll have to lift a sport at least 3 inches to fit the same size tires.

Lift isn't what allows 285s to fit

I'm guessing you understand that tire doesn't fit just with lift but also needs trimming of other things right?

    I run a 285 70 17 duratrac with roughly 2" of lift

Pro isn't the 1" higher they claim it is. I've checked they're the same height

Yeah I'll be doing a CMC and trimming of the liner. It's not a question of how to fit the tires, as I've done in the past. I had a 16 sport lifted on on the same suspension for the most part, when it was parked next to my stock PRO, they were almost identical with the pro on smaller tires. I just don't want a bunch of preload as I've had in the past. I figured by changing the coils I could avoid that. These trucks have always had a ton of rake from the factory, which I'm personally not a fan of. So hoping to level it out.

So most coilovers are not actually preloaded. This term gets thrown out a lot.
If you are referencing that in regards to height adjustment, what’s wrong with that? The coilovers are designed for adjustment.

Are you adding other stuff? 3" shouldn't be running too much preload if you're not that heavy.

I sag a lot in the front from armour and both batteries and when I do bumper I'll be switching to 700lbs springs.

If you just switch to 700lbs springs without having the weight to actually need them your ride will be terrible
