On a positive note, damn I get a lot of compliments!

when i changed from STMaxx to AT3LT tires the compliments totally stopped for me.

 

No rub on my truck with this set up. P265/70/17 k02 c-rated on Toyota 4Runner pro rims. I was on stock suspension for about a year with these wheels and tires. I recently got a 1.5” lift, but it never rubbed stock, even articulated and reversing. I have the OEM mudflaps and have done no cutting or chopping.

 

Interesting. I don’t participate in FB, but I’ll be interested to learn about it when it drops here.

Picked up a set of wheels and 265/75/16s from a member here last spring on a work trip, had to get creative loading.

 

I never had so many compliments when i had my other vehicles. IMO taco is the best looking truck out there, with couple minor mods of course.

Mine is pretty much stock, except for black sema wheels and BFGs. A lot of younger guys just stare sometimes, haha! I dont blame them though, i stare at it everytime im in the parking lot, walking away or towards it.

Cant wait for my bilstein ALL combo, sliders and trd exhaust Then, she will look look even sexier.

 

I think the Toyota Tacoma 3rd generation designers knocked it out of the park. Just the like the chart busting Pyromania album from Def Leppard It’s going to be hard to top.

 

You've got a great looking Trk. Don't mind the nay Sayers. They're just jealous. Live and let live even if you have the better Trk.

 

Buddy of mine is a diehard Dirtymax man, but even he likes the Taco. They just have that appeal. He would never want one, but nothing bad to say about them.

Toyota just released the hot Yaris GS overseas. All wheel drive and a 268 HP turbo three banger. 3-pedals only!

Sits on the new global architecture chassis as well, not the limp Yaris chassis that is sold here. Corporate says zero chance that it’s coming to America

 

Man I really hope they bring that to the US. Would be perfect sitting in the driveway next to my Tacoma

I did a few days stint around Cali with a fellow Taco-Bro, and his was fully decked out — every gas station people would come and ask about his rig - my poor stock Taco got no attention at all

 

Man.....that’s the saddest thing I’ve read in months.

We have very similar stuff going on and I also get a lot of compliments. Since I just bought a Faux Pro grill there should be a spike in positive comments once it goes on.

 

Nice truck, I like the “old man mods.” You should start a thread for that lol. Like you I get random comments about the truck from strangers, my wife on the other hand keeps telling me it’s the ugliest truck she’s ever seen. I love her but shes wrong about that.

 

I always get compliments at the car wash or people asking how I like it and what not. There is no other truck either the body design like the Tacoma, all the other trucks have a “round/flat” look while the Tacoma has angles that really make the truck. Nice taco man!

 

Regarding the topper on back, is the prime motivation for having one is to keep stuff dry? I’ve never had one.

 

I get compliments on my taco all the time. Women even totally gawk at me as I roll through any given parking lot, almost daily. My brother says it’s because they feel bad about my small dick. Jokes on him though, we’re twins.
