Maybe 4 seems right. I don't deliberately beat the hell out of it with a hammer, but I also just go through the auto-scrubby car wash, take it in the dunes, hit hard trails with it (including a few Jeep badge destination spots, which pisses them Jeep bois off), haul whatever crap I need to in the bed and pull a fully loaded (OK, sometimes overloaded) trailer of logs, and have even had a rock quarry rump a full load of pea gravel into the bed from their Cat. It's a truck. I use it as a truck. It's also a really freaking expensive investment that I want to last 1,000,000 miles or 20 years or so. So all maintenance schedules are followed fully (yes, I even torque body mount bolts).

    If this is an 8, what’s a 10?

I park mine on pillows and cover it with a blanket. And I leave a night light on. LOL
