Thanks guys. I talked to his brother a little bit ago. They think they got it all out with the surgery. Pending a few tests they don't even think he will have to go through any radiation. :yay:

I've seen two prayer requests since my last post. Both have been added to my prayer list...

You bring up an interesting point about John 3:16. I think you have figured something out. James 2:19 says "Even the demons believe that—and shudder." Don't think that I will be seeing them in heaven. It looks like the same Greek word is used in both places "pisteuō". I did a quick search and it looks like most versions of the Bible also say "believe in." My favorite book is James, and I think it does a good job expanding what is expected of us after we believe, by showing our faith, the next step after belief. So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. James 2:17 And regarding what each individual gets out of a piece of scripture, you are right on. And even what one person gets at different times will be different, with the Holy Spirit directing you to perceive what it is that you need to see.

Hi everybody! Please remember the Faculty, Staff, and Students that were in the area of the University of South Carolina murder/suicide yesterday along with the families of the involved parties. I'm a staff member and even with our offices a couple of blocks away and on lockdown it was a little scary.

Could use some Prayer for same passage for my Nephew. His name is Jake Nelson, and he was deployed (Again) to Afghanistan. He leads a Sniper team, so if you all could give him some prayer for an uneventful journey, that would be appreciated.
