You should look at DoubleCabMike's setup - It's a floor jack with a Engage Off Road piece attached. I've used it and I think it is one of the best setup's out there! :)

At ~26 pounds, when going out on a long ride with others, pound-for-pound next best thing to a full-sized spare!

Yup, that was me...no sliders and the stock bottle jack. I have a 60" highlift (50 bucks on craigslist :) ) but way to use it on this truck. I suppose I could use it in the rear receiver hitch for the back, but does anyone have a solution for the front? and to those people using 2x6's to make the stock jack taller, have you ever seen a piece split while doing that . Really scary stuff happens...there's gotta be a solution someone has come up with for the front...

The better question is... how are you going to drive your truck around with a 31" spare tire on one side and a 33" tire on the other side? That is the question!

As long as the 31 is on the front you'll be ok. No biggie there.

Don't jack off of the LCA. That's an accident waiting to happen. Hi lift that fucker or get some 2x4s to put under the jack or between the jack and the frame.

Second, compressing the spring with that flimsy ratchet strap is another fucking accident waiting to happen. Spring that can take half the weight of the vehicle or a Wally World ratchet strap with a 250-500lbs breaking limit...

Air down the 33" till it's the same rolling diameter as the 31"?

    .

Yeah, but if your tires are full of nitrogen, you can just use a small stick to lift your truck. ... :D

I made a heavy duty stand for my factory bottle Jack. I found some scrap C-Channel at work and used that. I measure the inside of my spare tire well and cut the pieces to fit inside my spare tire when not in use. Welded the pieces into an X configuration. Drilled and tapped holes for two bolts to secure the bottle to the stand. Then drilled a large hole in the center for the spare tire chain and holder to fit through. Just finished it tonight. Going to have it powder coated in the next few days then store it in the truck
