    I was just looking at this course this morning and was wondering why there was no in class requirement. Now I know.

    Yeah I'm glad they did. I started the process in February and had the follow up scheduled right when this nonsense started. The instructor canceled without telling anyone and left the class was left standing around outside.

    I took my online courses in March, then finally got an email saying I will receive my cert. without having to attend the classroom portion. STOKED! I called all my buddies and told them NOW IS THE TIME to get your hunter-ed cert.

    Looks like its taking a while for them to update the status on CA.Gov Fish and wildlife website though...

    Even if you never hunt a day in your life, get the license. The money goes where it supposed to unlike many other government fees.

    Hunting and fishing licenses are a good investment in the future of the sports.

    I typically pay for any tags/endorsement available. A few bucks for something I won't use, but what the heck someone will benefit down the road.
