@ProForce What GPM and pressure does this pump put out? Most of the ones I'm finding are about 35 PSI at 1.2GPM?

 

Thats the exact specs of this. Ive tested higher pressure pumps and its not worth the major cost increase.

 

Ok cool! yeah I found one thats about 3GPM @45PSI I'm gonna test out and see how it goes

 

Let me know how it works out. Id just encourage you to avoid off brand pumps before making your purchase. I tested a few and found poor results. Also l, with bigger pumps comes bigger lines and more water. One of the pumps used was a 55psi 5gpm Flojet pumo running 1/2" lines. It was a pita to install because of its size, caused an enormous amount of line vibrations, and used water too fast. Bigger pumps should have accumulator tanks, larger filters, and a much much larger hose line. Just be mindful of all that. Just trying to help sinceive been there done that. Larger pumps will increase your overall cost pretty significantly and typically dont deliver better performance that is worth the compromise of water efficiency. Things to consider thats all.

 

Yessir! Its a ShurFlo 3GPM 55PSI using 1/2" lines, I found all the fittings, gonna run an accumulator tank after it, and a Prefilter before the pump....debating on a line inlet filter as well so I can drop it into whatever....but I think the inline filter before the pump is enough,

Do we have anymore videos of this system? I'm still a bit concerned about how loud it seems in the videos that have already been shared.

Anyone who already has this... do you feel it's as loud in person as it is in the videos?

Here is the requested picture. Its really hard to tell, but since the pocket gradually gets narrower as you go further in, you would either need to space the pump off the back wall 1-2 inches, or cut a slot on the motor side (highlighted in white) for the motor to poke through the side wall a little bit. But its certainly doable with minor modification to the pocket

 

@L3Goullon as far as the noise levels, im not gonna lie and tell you its whisper quiet lol because its not. Out of all the pumps i tested though including higher and lower flow rates even ones with triple internal bypasses, the noise was about the same. Its not as loud as the videos make it seem, but its loud enough to make the person camping with you go "what is that?" I think its fine, but we all have our own definition of what fine means or what is reasonable to us. Ill let other who have it installed maybe leave their feedback on the noise levels

Got my pump, hoo boy, now I see why you use the smaller ones, this ones gonna need something bigger than the side pocket in the bed. Plus the accumulator. Waiting on a few more parts and then I'll PM you some photos and video so as not to clutter up the thread/steal any potential customers/maybe give you multiple options to sell.

I'm also considering making this one mobile. So built it in a box, have the quick disconnects and an electrical cord on the outside of the box, only thing needed would be an electrical connection somewhere in the bed to connect it to.
