Shit! How can I get these upgrades? Especially the intake hose. Better flow would be... Better

 

Just got my original kit all installed and working last night.

What would we need to purchase in order to upgrade the existing 1/4" line to 3/8"? Can you provide the parts list so we can upgrade or an upgrade kit? I already enclosed the wiring in a split loom.

 

@adadandhistruck @riz_atx the cost to upgrade the existing kits would be maybe $4-7 roughly and can easily be done using parts from your local lowes or HD.

I have not yet actually tested the new size tubing to see if any significant improvements are gained. In theory however, it should make an impact to flow rate but may also consume more water. I can say for sure that worse case there is no change at all as there is no way to make it worse. Before everyone runs out to buy new tubing, let me do some testing first to see if it's worth it. I will do testing in the next few days since i need results before i complete and sell these new kits. If results are the same as the current kit, then no loss for anyone. If the bigger hose somehow magically makes things worse which i think is impossible, then ill swap the new kits back to 1/4 and edit my posts. And if i find nice gains and great results, ill provide instructions to self upgrade

Anthony, update? Not trying to pester, I'm just excited to get this mod installed!

 

Ivan, I was the first to place an order for this round and he told me before he accepted my order that lead time was 3-4 weeks. He was very upfront about it with me. He has to order parts, assemble, and prepare for shipment (seems more than reasonable to me). I do know that he said he was going to try to reduce lead time, but couldn't make any promises. I know he stays pretty busy at work doesn't have a ton of time. I'm sure he is doing his best and will get these out ASAP.

 

I have 99% of the parts needed and have almost finished building the kits. Just need to build the wire harnesses and ill be finished with the exception of 1 missing piece. The brass adapter that converts the yellow 1/4" hose to a garden hose fitting for the spray nozel was on backorder. I got an update that they will be able to ship 10 of them to my by the 19th and the other 20 are scheduled for 1st week on july. This means the first 10 orders will be shipped early next week assuming all goes as planned with those parts and the rest unfortunately will be delayed until the rest of the adapters come in. Ill make another update this weekend

 

^^ x2...same exact thing happened to me, and I'm #2 on this round. Anthony was crystal clear of lead time and managed expectations...and definitely sounds reasonable.
but, I'm also excited to get this mod installed like @CaliDevilDoc is.

 

X3 - Super excited as well but three weeks till I get my shell and figure out where I'm going to set it up so less of a rush.

 

Since the first batch if 10 will be ready next week and the rest will be first week of July... if you are number 11+ on the list and have a more urgent deadline to get this kit, please let me know and ill try to find someone in 1-10 who doesnt mind giving up their place in line to recieve it a little later.
