The yellow hose is pretty bulky. That's about the minimum size you'd need.

    ...stuff
It comes in a flat rate shipping box.

It does not come in a plastic case or ammo can. The kit has everything you need to install in nearly any way you want.

any have any clean installs for hot water too? trying to figure out my options -- ideally something permanent and easy to get going aka flip a switch. I don't mind waiting an hour or so to get hot water, but I don't want to worry about lots of connections, etc.

Best thing would be permanent onboard water tank with built in heater and thermostat. Would take a bit of work but it's the best way in my opinion

    Awesome work and detail.....

How much for the orange hose, with swivel = 220 I believe and then a 10' suction hose instead of 6'?

agreed definitely thinking permanent OBW tank -- question is the heater and thermostat side of things since I don't see many people running permanent hot water so wanted to figure out what my options are..the propane route seems challenging since most systems seem to require the heater to mount vertically and I would like to all to be contained within my truck bed drawer platform as the top will be a sleeping space

Sorry I've been really busy and haven't updated OP like promised, but i will eventually lol. The kits are identical . The use the same pump, plumbing, hose, spray nozzle, and even filter. I basically take the built in kit and just install it into a box, add a different style wire harness and call it a day. I have noticed slightly higher pressure from the portable kits but i have no idea why as they are the same in every way. Maybe it's in my mind haha. Please let me know if this helps. I'm happy to answer as many questions as you have

Ah yes. So the ammo can was an expierment in the early stages. After a few attempts i found that they leak easy and its really hard to build without making them look kinda rigged together. Just an odd fit and i didn't feel confident in long term reliability from it. The plastic case comes with it now and works 10000x better
