I'm betting there is some fine print in there some where.

My cheap ass dealer only gave me a "free" tank of gas and "free" nitrogen in the tires. :/

My truck came with the cover (for whatever it costs), and honestly its going to stay in the garage standing in the corner collecting dust.... I can see it practical for some depending on your main user for the truck. A bed mat would have been great, but its not too much $$ to buy yourself. Id say go with whatever you want man. When it comes to free, wants always overcome needs.

The vehicle sales market has changed dramatically in the past 2 months. If you are looking to buy wait a little while longer. If you are looking to sell you might want to hurry up.

You're implying Tacoma values are going to drop or sales are going to drop? Or both?

The numbers show Tacoma sales have increased month over month, year over year.

Why would they need to give away accessories worth hundreds of dollars?

So, WHY a bed mat? I read the bed is VERY durable by itself. It is simply having something "grippy" so stuff doesn't side around? Thanks, don't mean to hi-jack thread . .

Yes it’s grippy and things don’t roll around back there when you have one in.

I’ll have to agree about work arounds, it’s the same as back in the day when there weren’t strict rules and regulations and it wasn’t plug n play. The world is limitless when you can cut and splice!

Yes very, very slippery and loud, In my case , I ride dirtbikes and I find my self on the weekends loading my bike early in the morning 5:30 am or 6am and without the mat it was a noisy task , every time the steel parts of the straps I use hit the bed it was loud!! or any piece of metal that hit the bed was loud, the ramp,my cooler, fuel jug, bike stand all where sliding all over the bed, . Before every single thing had to be tied. Look Yes the bed can be very durable but not indestructible, it will chip eventually.
Now things stays where I put them, that cooler (see the pic) is going nowhere or the ramp and stand.
Disclaimer: For heavy Furniture or some loads I need the bed to be slippery,in order to slide things in, in that case I just remove the mat.

TRD Exhaust (likely most expensive accessory that dealer can get) then sell it and:
    1. buy bedmat from other source.
    2. profit

$200+ Bed Step for sure. If you really don't want it you can always sell it on here. They hold their value just as good as gold does.

Bedmat is only $100. See if they'll give you a tonneau cover...

They all give you a free tank of gas here in the mid-west. I got "Crystal Fusion" applied to my windshield and every 3 months for a year if I choose to drive the 45 miles to get it done. 2 hats, 4 can koolies, which I threw in the trashcan, (Not the hats though) 2 - 5" rigid seat belt extenders, and my buddies bed mat out of his '17 TRD Sport he traded in 3 weeks ago. Liked to had a bed step but I know he would not of thrown that in.

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
Well you see...my buddy put one in his VW Golf and one evening decided to let his girlfriend drive. She parked it (and left it in gear). As we walked out of the bar that evening, he hit the fob as we were standing in front of it and it plowed right into us. Having a few beers in me, my first instinct was to get low and throw my hands out like my high school football coach taught me and I immediately recognized there was no way in hell I could stop it. My only choice was to roll off the hood or get pulled underneath. I did the former. Laying on the pavement I watched as that little bastard went clear across the parking lot and stopped dead upon contact with the bumper of a Toyota Camry. Let's just say we didn't stick around very long afte that to see if there were any witnesses. Live and learn.

Get the OEM Roof Rack or the TRD Pro Skid Plate. Those are two of the pricier accessories.

Looks like they declined MoM into October on your chart. I expect another decrease into November.

No need to fret, nothing increases forever. It time for a pullback and interest rates are rising. Despite their legendary resale value Tacomas will be affected when the lease return glut dumps used vehicle prices. That will drag new vehicles down with it.
