I changed the bulbs to LED in the map lights of my 2021 Tacoma SR5 Trail, and one bulb broke coming out and I had to fish it out and now that side doesn't work. Are there separate fuses for each side or is there something else wrong? The other side works fine.

^Did you try flipping the LED bulb around. Filament bulbs don't care about polarity. LEDs (light-emitting diodes) often work only in one direction.

Did you disconnect the negative battery terminal? Might have fried the board like many others here. Expensive mistake.

If you accidentally ground it out, fuse under the dash my have blown. For the map lights I found it a lot easier to just pull the whole thing down . It's 4 clips holding it in and you can get to the bulbs by twisting from the top of it.

Thanks for the responses, it was just a fuse, didn't know there was a fuse box under the dash as well.

If you ever change them again...
I grab them with a piece of duct tape. Make it into a "U" shape with sticky on inside. Grab the bulb so tape sticks to it and pull the tail of the tape to remove.

    This didn't work for me.

It's MUCH easier to just grab the console and pull straight down and remove the bulbs from the back side.

My local buddy said the same thing. But try my method, you wont go back to tape.
