I'll admit, there was a lot of frost last night, but I idled the truck for 10 minutes before leaving and then drove for another 15, still iced over. Windsheild and side windows were completely defrosted, so that will give you an idea. Mirrors had started to defrost, but not completely, so I know they're working.

I haven't tried it on this one yet, but I have a Focus and a Mustang - both have it on the passenger door, and neither one of them will work if the fob is inside the car. If the fob is on the driver's side, the passenger side handle won't work, and vice-versa. I would assume Toyota could do this too if they wanted to.

But yeah, the lack of a passenger side keyless handle is one of the few disappointments so far.

I did notice the internal overhead light turn on as I walked past the truck....WTF...??... It only does when I'm near the driver's side and it stays on for 6 seconds...What possible use could this serve..??

    Dumb ass feature...!!!!

I may have to take back my pet peeve. This morning I was idling the truck when the wife climbed into the passenger seat and she promptly started to push the Defrost button several times. I asked her what she was doing and she said turning on the seat heater. I said WHAT?? Now I'll have to wait until the next frost to check for sure, but in the meatime...Banned from any buttons!!

    That's a dealer only (3) setting.

No it's not a dealer only option. You need to go into your vehicle settings and there is a option to have it shut off. The vehicle needs to be running to access the vehicle settings.. The part of the manual you cited is for how long the headlights lights on auto stay on after you shut off the vehicle

Not enough space between steering wheel and seat (vertical) makes it hard to get into the driver seat.
    Insufficient drivers seat adjustment.
    Insufficient steering wheel tilt/extension.
ECT button isn't lit like the others around it when on.
Cig. lighter/12 volt outlets only hot when vehicle is on.
    No drivers entry assist handle.
While the 110volt outlet will work for me, 100/400 watts is not much!

IMHO: If you are 4ft to 5ft9inch, this vehicle has good seating positions. If you're over 5ft9inch the seating position starts to decline. Of course, if you're 4ft the seating position is great but you can't get into the truck.

I understand the Truck was designed in part in California but our first ice rain/wet snow fall occurred today. The deep channel just in front of the window wipers is a damn nuisance. It fills up with wet slushy snow, builds up and if left over night in freezing weather would present a real challenge in the morning. That and the fact I hit the brakes firm but not hard only to have all the slush and crap on the roof slide down onto the front window making it almost impossible to see out. The snow and slush was to heavy for the wipers, made worse by the pile up of slush in the channel in front of the wipers. I will be mindful to sweep off any snow accumulations before going for a ride. Toyota your design team can do better.

Pretty small items frankly but ones design engineers should be watchful for. I do love the truck she is a keeper.

I have a small, random, buzz/rattle coming from the passenger dash speaker area that annoys the crap out of me and I haven't had time to look into it yet. Also, I would love it if the rear sliding window was electric.
