Has anyone noticed the lumbar support knob wearing out their Wet Okoles like it does to the factory driver's seat from sliding in and out of your truck? Obviously I am glad this will protect my factory seat, but hope it won't wear out my WO's prematurely.

And does dog hair stick to the material? We have chihuahuas. They never ride in it, but it transfers via our clothes.

    I don't believe so. My dog don't shed so I don't notice.

Simon's hair would stick, he's a short haired black&tan dacshund but it cleaned up real easy brushing it off or a 3m lint roller. No issues. Better than muddy paws.
This time I bought full black covers so I wouldn't see it.
And it keeps your seats perfect underneath. My last set were on for 4+ yrs. spilling whole cups of coffee on them more than once.
Nothing on the taupe seats when I traded it in. Looked brand new.

I'm at 60,000 miles now and I need new seat covers. Current ones aren't Wet Okole but very similar. Stained up and starting to rip from sliding in and out.

Awesome. Our dogs are white haired. That's why I was leary about getting all black covers.

In response to your original question - yes, the lumbar adjustment knob will wear on the covers.

I will probably remove the knob from my seat, as I never adjust it.

I'm thinking of doing the same. Any idea how to do it?

IIRC there is just a cover on the end of the knob that you pry out to get to a bolt, but I could be wrong.

I took it off of my '07 Tacoma but that was about 3 years ago.

    I just remembered.

There is a "Jesus" clip on the end of the knob that you just pop off.

Jesus clip? So the knob just pulls off and I remove this clip?

It's a c-clip basically. I forget whether or not you can get to it with the knob as it is, or if you have to pull the knob out a little bit to get to it.

I believe it looked something like this...

Got to ask ..... how often do you adjust the lumbar?

It sounds like never, as he is planning on taking the knob off.

I will be doing this also.
