    Actually, that brings up a detail I forgot to mention. I was on I guess what you could call the entrance to the pond, it hadn't opened up yet. I didn't remember it being that deep, and I asked a friend of mine about it.

    Apparently a few years ago, they dug it out because of some drainage issue from the high tension lines. He happened to go out there off roading one day and they were digging it out, so he stopped and talked to the guys. It's about 12 feet where I went in, and he said they had dug it deeper in other spots.
