On my 2008 V6 with 335k miles....I had P0306 pop up last February. Clear and it would be back every several hundred miles.
In March, I replaced all six plugs. Still got the code. So my next step was Redline SI-1 in the fuel (in case it was a dirty injector), and a new OEM #6 coil. Code was gone.
....until October. Back to what I was experiencing before, every couple of days I get the P0306. Just after startup.
Assuming a head gasket leak. However, no bubbles in coolant, no noticeable misfire, no noticeable loss of coolant. I even put a piece of tape on the reservoir to watch the exact hot mark and cold mark (I park in the exact same spot to check it). No change.
Is this typical of a head gasket leak? If so, I'm leaning in the k-seal direction for now, but I'm not adding it unless I know I've got a leak.
    Thanks.
