A smaller steering wheel. That way I wouldn’t have to climb in the truck with straight legs.

Really? I think my sound system pounds pretty good with XM radio. It’s not as good when playing the radio or Bluetooth, so I listen to XM only.

Hm I don’t know. Previous gen Colorado/canyon came with a v8 and it wasn’t a huge hit at all.

I feel that has more to do with what was wrapped around the V8 in that case.

Come stay with me and park your truck in my driveway for a couple of hours without a sun shade. All the heated steering wheel you want.

The 6MT reverse ratio is the best answer. I got it fully into gear once and just like that I was speeding in my neighborhood. Most of these other complaints fall under the "I bought the wrong vehicle" category, or are inconsequential in the grand scheme of things.

Premium SFOB tune will give you a
    Interesting.

My 07 ranger had rear drums. Emergency braking was scary from my experience, they sucked a lot. Especially when needed to slow down fast when going downhill.

Brakes on my taco are night and day compared to my ranger, my taco stops on a dime.

    Ha!

I was actually looking to buy the canyon/Colorado but was a bit too expensive so I went with the good ol ranger.

It sucks yes, but there is a simple kid that fixes it. 2WD LOW mod.

Yeah, either higher or lower. That being said, this is a perfect example of a problem I didn’t notice until people kept pointing it out. In the halcyon early 2020 days I was at the local auto show and they had a 2020 with a power seat, but the battery was unhooked so I couldn’t see what, if any, impact it had. I’m sure at some point people will start to sell 2020+ seats you can swap your cushions and covers onto and then jumper harnesses to get the seats working.

This. I know there’s an aftermarket thread about it, but it all turned into a bit of feces theater, so I’m not sure it’s a good solution. It seems great in theory, but I’m not 100% sure on the execution.

There’s definitely a difference in EQ on XM versus any other source. I know XM is typically compressed, but since I did an amp / speakers / JL Stealthbox retaining the stock HU I notice the bass hits harder on the same song on the XM version. That being said, XM does have a subtle weird compression that I don’t dig. Also, I cannot stomach Madison and she ruins listening to 34 on the way to work and 36 on the way home.

Power seats w/o memory baffles me. I have it on my Vette although I’m the only one who drives it, but my wife’s Jeep does not. I would love to play around with all the settings outside of front / back, but since I only sporadically drive it, it feels a bit much to tweak all the settings on her only for her to change them all back.

That being said, my contribution would be linear power delivery. Yes, I know tunes solve this, tunes are safe, blah blah (I’ve had tuned cars but…) but having a linear power delivery would be amazing. Without opening the can of worms these trucks need to be revved to make power, but at least on my 6MT it doesn’t reward you to go up in the revs.

    Firstly

    Small V8

    Secondly.

I would like the ability to fit 33s or even 35s with next to no modifications needed. Just the lift to clear them.
