First off, I wouldn't go to that shop. Second, ditch the idea of a block lift in the rear. $149.00 for a block lift is WAY over priced. No coils for the billie struts? Man, do some searching on the net, I lifted my truck for $1000 and wheels and tires for $1100. Wabfaboffroad.org. Eibach springs with Billie struts and shocks with Deaver AAL's for $1000. All ya have to do is put em on! Cake!

I had a local guy push the spacer/block lift too and would install it for a total of $900. I am happy with my performance and ride after going with 5100s in all 4 corners and an AAL. Price was actually less than the spacer/block setup. Average quote to install was $600. There's a reason most guys on here recommend 5100s w/AAL. I'm happy with it, I'm sure you will be too.

Ended up going with the following (to be installed this week when Eibachs arrive from Toytec):

    From the shop: 5100's all around, Eibach/Toytec coils, 1.5" AAL, = $742

    From Amazon: LR/SP UCA = $407

    Install labor at $135/hr = $540

From the shop: 285/70r17 Nitto Terra Graps at $220 each, plus $25 each install and $10 TPMS rebuild, alignment $90 = $1102

    From Ebay: 17x9 Eagle 185's = $600

    Sales Tax = $140

    GRAND TOTAL: $3531

Yeah, I respect that. I'm not as handy as many of you all. I've def changed out coils and shocks before but get weird with aftermarket stuff. Shop just called and said they're gonna have to remove the whole inner fender to get the UCA's on (guess that whole 2012 bolt issue). Glad it ain't me doing it!

Holy Crapolla! I was just quoted this from Easterns in Norfolk.

$1163 for a Bilstien 3" lift and alignment (thats buying the shocks and AAL from them).

$750 to install one that I buy outside of them.

That seems high to me. If anyone is in NOVA Alexandria area hit me up and let me know if you have anyone else.

I am in Denver and am considering a similar lift on my 2008 DCLB SR5. Where did you get the lift done? I called around and I think I was quoted about the same from several shops.

Looks good! I have the same truck in black and I am also in Denver Metro. What suspension did you get and who did the install?
