Ray's place is close by if you guys are willing to pay and then you can check out some of the trails there since we all have of4 membership now. Would be able to get on them for free.

Does it fit in the rear cubby of the turd gens? If so, it'd be a nice permanent mount comp. Though anyone have a better recommendation that would fit in there if it doesnt?

All that cubby does atm is hold onto my hitch adapter :spy:

I think its only free if you stay there.
Day riders have to pay like $20 now of4wd or not. Im not sure if that was only during the winter months or not though.

    Yeah its a motel/camp ground

I guess they started charging because they actually go back and fix the trails with a excavator.

Messaged a of4wd guy. Rays place is pay per use.

So the membership is kinda useless, doesn’t do anything for you really. Other than trail maps, but even then...

used to be free with membership before, oh well all good things come to an end. :(

you get “trail insurance” - questionable thing in my opinion since it’s never been used by the club and no one knows how well it will cover.

If you read the fine print, only at legit of4wd events im pretty sure and even then its more for people not the vehicles.

I dunno, i guess its good to give them a couple dollars and hope they do some good for us. Cant hurt i guess

You can lead the way and try first :D

They also represent 4WD groups and fight with municipalities to keep trails open, but with recent closure of Minden trail... :anonymous: idk.

Guys drinking and driving the whole time on the trail doesn't help the image either.
Or leaving the campsite a mess and throwing beer cans etc into the fire.

Everyone thinks 'oh it will burn' or 'its only one beer is ok'
Thing is it doesn't fully burn and adds to the garbage and it's never one beer and regardless Highway traffic act still applies and it's still illegal.

OPP still come in every once in a while on quads and side by side as do MNR.
Mostly looking for atv etc but doesn't matter they'll catch whoever they can.

Even if guys think it's harmless, it gives fuel to the fire to close shit off to us.

Contrary to what everyone thinks that it's crown land they can't just close it, they can. They can designate it conservation land or Forest reserve and it's closed to us. Many things they can change it to, even being crown land can change whether you can camp etc.

It seems many forget the whole tread lightly.

Ardbeg had been closed down in the past, no reason it can't happen again.
