    oh man haha I just bought a used rusty one off kijiji haha im repainting it this week. I did have to cut those stupid ass T bolt things that hold on the plastic end caps. will have to swing by the dealer at some point to see if i can buy some.

    No, just drove by one to grab the mats for when i get the template. I snapped a photo of some employee scanner/phone to get an inventory check at other places. told me there is a good chance it wont come back.

    EDIT: Ancaster Home Despot has about 8 rolls of the cheaper $14 matting

    Incorrect... Somewhat. Antenna wire is as important as antenna type and location. Wire should be only as long as necessary and never coiled. Also should be kept away from any power cables. Quality is also extremely important as lower quality cable can cause interference and significant dB drop.

    To an extent ya.

    If you have a higher end shielded cable it doesn't matter.
    But in the case of fucking with swr that's pretty much antenna

    I went from swr 1.2 to 0.1 by switching cables.
    I do agree in Wes's case it is most likely antenna based
