Solid front axle vs IFS, it'll take more than 35's to make the Tacoma drive like a Heep. :duel:

I always torment Fords (1st gen chev camaro guy so there is always the ford/chev rivalry),
Plumbers (cause I'm and electrician and it's tradition)
Flyboys and Salt-Licks (Air force, Navy)
and Jeeps, well cause they are Jeeps and a Chrysler product, and the owners get so excited when you give 'em a dig .:boink:

Takes a lot of time, engineering and $$ to get a Tacoma as capable as a Rubicon on the trails...

Takes a lot of time engineering, $$ and allot of PFM to get a Rubicon as quiet, comfortable, dry inside and smooth on the road as a Tacoma...

Neither one will keep upto the Camaro in the 1/4 mile though. :brianr:

What makes a vehicle better at one thing will make it worse for something else.

I see more roads and Jobsites than trails so Tacoma for me.

Tormenting Jeep owners is so much fun... Even a slight innuendo and it drew you out sword in hand. LOL

If you walked into a Jeep meetup and yelled "leaky, unreliable rattle-traps"
    you'd get the same reaction as;
    Walking into a feminist, lesbian-vegan convention naked, with a big raw steak wrapped around your dick, saying ;
"No need to push ladies, you can all have a lick"

Hmmm, both good ideas for a youtube channel!

    P.S. PFM=Pure F$cking Magic

Oh yeah, got distracted tormenting a Jeep owner (hehe, don't tell 'em I like Jeeps though, he won't twitch as much when I say Heep)

I put in the I JDMtoy fog lights with the TRD-Pro bezels, and it came out good.

Really nice thing is that with the mtg brkt that comes with the kit, and the wire plugs, it makes any 2"x3" pod lights work in that spot. :)

I have some other pods but I though I'd try the iJDMtoy ones first and I must say they are much brighter than the stock TRD halogen ones.

But at least it gets rid of those big round silver fog lights in the front,

I've seen some light bars and pods that were all black so I'm going to keep my eyes open for some all black 2x3 pods and black out the Rigid Industries letters.

K now to go out and see what they look like in the dark. :)

Other than toyota vs FCA reliability i disagree.

I’ll just say go drive a new jeep jl rubicon and you’ll retract your statements.

I see more soccer moms driving jeeps now than ever, if it was such a leaky rattling shitty driving vehicle , why do you think they would keep them and still drive them?

And I’ll hit the tacoma owners in the heart with, jeeps hold their value the same or better than a tacoma...........

These headlights (OEMassive with GE 130 H7 bulbs) seemed brighter than stock headlights...

Now with the IJDMtoy fog lights

Didn't post the pick with the high beams as the Fogs were a LOT brighter than those too.

Not sure how they would do in Fog but make great non-Dot driving lights.

    Next the hidden winch bumper,
    then
the 8112's with the heavier springs
the 8100's with the deaver leaf pack and extended brake lines
    then
    winch
    then
    switchpro 9100
    then
    lightbars and pods
    then
6 camera and screen mirroring system
    then
    Toyota E-Locker
and all the while collecting the misc skid plates and figuring out what I want to do with the driver's seat and ham/cb radio. Oh yeah the stereo speakers too

    Gaaaaahhhhhh, Dam you Tacomaworld.

You jeep owners don't need to line up, I'll give you all a ride in my Tacoma.

    Heheheh Hahahaha

Lol you got a case of the "Jeepers" pretty strong, and you don't have 3 lightbars on it yet!

Lord help me at the next meetup and I make one Mall Squeaker comment...

You'll be flying across the table frothing at the mouth, with a broken tequila bottle in hand.
Rattling over curbs and squeakin over speedbumps trying to catch up to me in the parking lot yellin' "Jeeps are better"
and storming the Wendy's flower bed to prove it!

Lol you make it so easy for tormenting-fodder... Using soccer moms to promote your off-road vehicle.
Oh I could work that one for an hour... I could offend so many groups with that line of thought. I will say this though
They buy 'em cause they can't hear the kids in the back,
it's easy to hose out all the snot and vomit from hauling around all the little crotch maggots,
and if you leave a hockey bag in it overnight you can at least take the roof off to air it out.

I will agree with you though... Jeeps that stay together and are still running do hold their value really well!
But then again, don't all rare vehicles?

But I've been rough on you so I'll calm down before I get forced into a Jeep for a ride and a lecture on how much better Jeeps are.
(Those lectures are so loud, you know... to hear over all the road noises a Jeep makes).

    I will say this;

Jeep owners are always behind their vehicles! Too bad they are generally pushing though.

Haha All in good fun, now go splash some mud on your Jeep and you'll feel all better again. :)

Close, I'm looking for the Sp-9100

    https://store.switchpros.com/sp-9100-switch-panel-power-system/

With the trigger inputs and PWM control on the outputs I'll be able to use a factory Toyota locker and locker button without a lot of hassle. And Bluetooth...

    Lol 35's...

Almost went down that rabbit hole... + regear + +++++++++++++++++ marlin crawler , then this happens...

Then comes the RTT, then the cooler... then...

35s are fun! No necessary re-gear required on MT trucks if you stay on pavement, 4.30 gets power from that engine. Will test how it feels on trails next week.

I don’t know, everything you say about jeeps doesn’t make sense or doesn’t have true facts, im all for having fun but

Jeep is a faster vehicle than tacoma 0-60...youll be trying to catch me

Again with the soccer moms, they would never remove the roof, they wouldn’t pull the carpet to “hose” the interior out, and its not too loud or the snotty kids would cry about it. Its a great point to make as they drive good as a DD and take laps around a tacoma offroad

And rare vehicle, they sold the same amount of wranglers as tacomas in 2018. 245vs240

I think you really just want one...they make a gladiator for you now, in manual so you can ditch the junky automatic everyone talks about on the forums

Honestly, i never understood favouritism to one brand to the point blotting and hating the rest.

Hell look at the lexus gx470. Its a lexus, why is it on anything other than an asphalt path? But na - similar platform as the 4runner and made it a solid offroad monster for cheap.

Tacomas and Jeeps both play in the mud and on dirt roads, the same roads that the other guy rides. And at the end of the day, we do the same thing and have the same fun - only difference is how we do it. Both are tools that have the same objective and the same intentions.

I agree with you, I haven’t said anything bad about tacomas yet.

Just poked fun at the end with his auto tranny, but I actually had one and drove it so im allowed to complain about it

    Didn't you hear?
"Auto"/ "Automatic" is now what people consider the cars with the fancy AutoPilot to be, where it drives you around after you sit inside it.
"Manual"/ "Standard" is the old Automatic transmission, where you have to manually drive yourself to places
"Stick" is an ancient tool lost in time

Lol it's not supposed to make sense or be based on any scientific data in the least.

I think you missed my whole point.

Which was; Jeep owners are fiercely loyal to Jeeps and if you make one peep about a Jeep they go

    Catch the point now?

P.s. I never said that Jeeps were rare... re-read what I said was rare... Lol I'm evil.
